Since you've reread this a few times, do you happen to know if there is a book that comes before this? it feels like I'm missing so much when I see the brother, his husband and the ML interact. If there's not, that's cool but I just feel like there should be lol
From what I know, there isn't one. The brother and his husband are mostly there for plot development

Alpha x alpha is very refreshing, I just hope they do it well. Usually when I see this type of dynamic with appearances that clearly delineate their roles like this I end up not liking it, but we'll see
Tell ya what— cedric is still the best ML. No shady dark magic, no political conflicts, no dangerous family members, just some dude with gorgeous hair, stable job and a gentleman's personality. He almost kissed maythan without permission which froze my blood, but he's not nearly as pushy/obsessive than the other two, who should just fuck each other at this point
