I dont know what people was expecting, the author really throw almost every drama in his past. Here the catch: not to justify but to explain.
Under a psychological profile, his behaviour makes total sense and it is quite common: your difense mecchanism becomes your cage, hurting yourself and people around you .
Plus as mbti (no cognitive function, nb) are quite popular in Korea, his chatacter+backstory are perfectly build on the estj stereotypes.
At the end, I dont think he is a character created to be liked, but to catch attention.
A wild guess, but i think Henry struggled with depression. So his "heart" and "body/dick" still love and crave Victor even after death, but his "mind" is apathic.
This would explain his sexual drive, the strange detachment, the soft affection, a sudden accidental death that actually may be not so accidental.
I think the top is really one of the few chatacters i ever genuinely hated. I usually sympathize or find the reason within most of red or balck flag. But not this one, i despise him so much i want him to actually die, and I usually never wish that to anyone, not even fictional characters.
