Holy shit! This was so unexpectedly amazing! I read this thinking it'll be regular vampire, whatever manga but there was so many elaborate parts and surprises! The damn OVA is lacking in so many ways. This was a roller coaster of excitement and anticipation, it was pretty heavy as well. I haven't felt this much giddiness after reading a manga in suchhhhhh a long time. This cleansed my soul. The beginning confused me for a while but then the story pulls together in such a lovely way.
What a shame though. I don't think the mangaka will ever create a sequel, most of the good works never get a sequel *sigh*. This gives me angst 'cause of the closing statement where Rayflo has to suffer through losing everyone over and over for the rest of his immortal life, it punctuates that this is incomplete... I want to see a defeated Belial! We never even get to find out Rayflo's real name, or see his true potential power (cause he only lost is for like two panels)
But can we just discuss how lacking this was in yaoi though? I know it's listed as a shounen-ai but that last chapter was such a friggin tease! I mean.. there was penetration, just not the right kind...
And Alford, fck that piece of shota asd;alsk;dk;. I still want to park my foot up his ass. What a shit reason to fck with people's lives. Why is it that the shotas in non-shota-yaois are all pricks? ╮(￣▽￣)╭
