Ok, I like that there's drama and angst because it makes the smut and "getting together" part of the story really satisfying, but I think the author should chill a little because it's just been consecutive conflict after conflict.
theyre really spinning the love square angle but im rooting for the losing guy. shell never end up with john if plot is going to plot, but in my head they own a bakery while he farms and both live a humble, carefree life together away from politics.
Why can't we just appreciate that he really said "fuck the title, I chose the person I love and our happiness together instead"?? like men in the 21st century reality won't even help with dishes when their wife works and does the cooking
homegirl is still reeling from abuse and trauma but can't catch a break. honestly, she would be better off faking her death and living in the woods drama-free with a garden or something. maybe take that nice aide bc hes cute and kind.
Don't know how I feel about reading the side stories especially because we know the outcome of the characters: death, don't end up together, becomes a huge psychopath etc.
