Pleaseee drop this the author is aware of mangago and went on hiatus once already due to illegal uploads. don't ruin the author's career over this. some will let it slide. this author already went on hiatus and is threatening to drop the series. and it has happened before and will again. ffs.

The official raws: http://webtoon.daum.net/webtoon/view/magesdaughter
No official english translation, the only official translation beside korean is in bahasa indonesia (Indonesia got their official kakaopage)

okay please don't use that as your reason.
say she's in love, or she's in a happy relationship, but her marriage was a fraud. it's not a valid excuse to chastise him. a valid excuse? she turned him down. regardless of her relationship he should still stop pursuing her. she's happy without him. she's in love. or you know, she turned him down. that's the only reason you need to stop pursuing someone.

the author requested the webtoon to not be uploaded to illegal sites. trust me when i say that webtoon artists, even in korea, know about mangago specifically. the author threatened to drop this if it keeps on being uploaded and translated. please don't do this when the author specifically requested not to,,

yeah i agree it's bc people post this website all over tik tok, twitter, etc.. authors are obviously gonna see. a manhwa i was reading got dropped. not the translations, the official manhwa got dropped bc of things like this. im super sad. also you can read it on instagram if you find the right accounts

since they're specifically asking for translations to stop, i would recommend just reading the korean one. you can use google translate or naver to translate it if you cant read korean - what my friend does is take screenshots on her phone, scans the text in google translate's apps and copies it, then puts it into naver's papago since it's a korean app and will translate a lot more efficiently. up to chapter 47 is free on http:// webtoon. daum. net /webtoon/ view/ magesdaughter (remove spaces or search up the korean name, it'll be the first result).

okay i absolutely agree that mia as a korean woman should know to not chase a married man but a) he's not technically married to his lover - the lover is the empress. it's like when people have mistresses. you can still seek out the man when he has mistresses, even if they are in an official relationship (using historical standards). he does love her, but i dont think anyone knows that except for him and his assisstant?
b) she's been told she is a part of a prophecy and will be his one true love. i mean, i would probably believe in fate if i was transported to another world.
the main issue isnt with her chasing a "married man," he's going to need to marry again. he has to have two wives. the issue isn't her entitlement to a position that quite frankly, was hers by all means.
her issue isnt that she's naive and doesnt realize she's being manipulated by the ml's brother because he's clearly competent.
her issue is that she doesnt take the hint that she isnt romantically viewed upon and doesnt seem to be as remorseful as she should be.
if this story actually had like,, written her well and less of a one dimensional character, i would honestly feel bad for her.
imagine, your boyfriend cheats on you and you're transported to another world. a mysterious woman helps you out while a handsome man captures you. as time goes on you start to find feelings for him, but then realize the two are married. you're struck with guilt on ever even thinking of going between the relationship of the woman who helped you. but then that man's brother, his family, tells you that you're fated to be with him. it's your destiny, and that the marriage you saw wasn't even one of love, but necessity, and he has yet to take his real love. your feelings make sense - of course you fell for him, he's your destiny!! your one true love wasn't in your original world, that's why it never worked out. but even though you know their marriage isn't one of love or even the true marriage, you still feel guilt, and are torn between following your destiny which you're told will save the country, while possibly ruining this wonderful woman's life, or rotting away alone, never to be with your fated one.
anyways, justice for what mia could have been - a well written character we could have sympathized with but everything has to be black and white and we can't feel complex emotions towards characters and be forced to realize they aren't just objectively good or bad people!

~~after being abused, neglected, raped, he fell in love with the only person available for him after he threatened his life to bring him there, wow! so romantic.

but he could go back to his old life when he just drank , i think when he says he has no place to go its because he has changed so much he doesnt feel like he belongs anywhere ..its not ok ofc that he feels that way ,because in that situation he is in he would just run anyway without thinking twice but he still stayed ......i think he has a unhealthy bond with Seungho and. no matter how good Seungho is unless he is sincere about his feelings their relationship is kinda sad :)just my opinion
Please don't hate the Second Lead just because you like the ML? like i see people cursing him online and it breaks my heart. he's her childhood friend, is only casually intimate, and is flirty in the way most friends are here in the US. and everyone is entitled to their own opinions in the story. the author clearly didn't write him to be a bad guy, so like,,, don't hate him for no valid reason??
