Something I’ve always had a problem with omega verse stories...men look like women and women look like men. I know it’s not serious but doesn’t the confusing gender roles and misused pronouns for men and women who are alpha and omega kinda annoying?
I still love the story, especially since no one got raped.
But does gender have to be so binary? What I love about the onegaverse stories is this rejection and examination of traditional gender roles.

But then you have this alpha female or omega female built like dude. Then the call the men she, mom, her, then they call most of the females he, him.
I’m not saying theirs anything wrong with it. I’m just saying it’s confusing. Because they basically draw out these characters with the bodies and just put on the private parts.

I do think that's a point of contention and can be criticised that they 'feminise' the Omegas so deliberately. It's like how ukes & semes are so obvious from the covers because of the body types. When in reality such binaries don't actually occur often (from my understanding) in the LGBTQ+ world.

Yep, but that shouldn't justify rape as a whole. Saying that it's a "fantasy world" so it can pass stuffs like pedophilia and rape is absurd. "Fantasy" can resonate in real life in so many ways through influence and impact of the plot. The people in this comment section are just hoping that yaoi should be always be consensual. And if in some plots, rape happened, the rapist should be jailed and pay the consequences, thus breaking the normalization of rape in BL.

Just found this and read all of it so I’m up to date.the story is nice so far and I love the best friend! But the sex scenes aren’t all that.
