Meh. Pauliana doesn't really care if he gets married to 3 other women. To her, she's just a knight doing her duty.
Also, after he married the three women he left the kingdom for some business and put Pauliana in charge of his wives' security. All four of them became close and got along with each other. The 3 wives also know that Lucius is only in love with Pauliana (a bummer that the person in question doesn't though). It is a dictionary definition of political marriage.
In hindsight, the 3 wives were more like a harem for Pauliana hahah

Ah yes, Lucius did have a child with one of the 3 wives. Honestly, it's his duty to have an heir so I guess that can't be avoided. She gave birth to a princess and then died. She's quite pitiful, she really wanted her child to be a boy because she knows how oppressed women are. Only there for marriage, men and childbirth. She's the one Pauliana is really close with and after she died Pauliana was very upset.
The princess inherited the throne though. Lucius changed the laws to better protect the rights of women. I love it.
I don't think there is a jealousy issue. I don't The 3 wives even like Lucius, they're just there due to family obligations.
Pauliana wasn't hurt, she doesn't love the Emperor at that time yet. What was important to her was her duty as a knight.
Pauliana and Lucius did end up together and have a son named Jared. He looks exactly like his father and has excellent swordsmanship skills.

The novel isn't translated. There's one chapter out but I really doubt that helps quell curiosity about the story.

Also, the webtoon is more on the fluffy side. The novel is REALLY dark on some parts. I advise caution when reading the spoilers.

With the dark parts though, it really drives home how oppressed women really were and how it's so much better now than before. It really is a compelling story. Here's to hoping they release English translations and ship the books worldwide

Dysania Scanlation dropped this project after chapter 22. Someone anonymously shared their “rough” translation and edit from chapter 23. Mind you, because there’s no credit page, in scanlation world that means the project is still open. Dolce Dream took over Dear Door and worked on chapter 24 and 25, but the anonymous person didn’t stop sharing their crude translation. There’s no point for 2 groups to work on the same project, and because the anon never officially took over the pj nor did they try to discuss with Dolce Dream, DD decided to drop Dear Door too. Now we are stuck with anon.

I don’t want to sound ungrateful, but clearly I would prefer the quality from DD over a rough translation on watermarked raw stolen from Toonkor... just a thought.

your right with everything, except the fact that its not anon that uploaded chapter 25, (anon politely apologised and stopped), its another scan group known for doing this very thing to other groups. dropping it was the best bet to avoid conflict

You have read the note yourself :( they may work on it again if the other stop releasing, but it’s not guaranteed. This project is extremely handful and takes a lot of effort to clean and typeset, so I really understand their feelings not wanting those efforts to be wasted.

Still.. A bad scanlation can ruin even a masterpiece. I believe there are lots of people who would still read DD's work even if the other group doesn't stop. I understand their frustration and reason though. It's just such a shame :""

Oh lord, can we do something about this? Full offense (since it seems that the new scanlators didn't try to talk to DD), I don't want crude translations because this is such a masterpiece. Hope that Dolce Dream will see our thoughts regarding this :((( Do we know the name of the group? We could probably message them if they have been doing this to other groups too

His goal was to change his past, he was always trying to be a surgeon in the past, so technically he wasnt even going to be a dermatologist in the first place but to better his future he is now trying to pursue it, and while doing so, his goal is to also better his broken marriage of his past, since she did leave him, the nurse is apart of his proccess, so this love triangle is probably gonna stay, i dont like it either, it was great till love got involved

I agree, he was bothered about the whole marriage thing but the main conflict (blondie) isn't getting progress. He keeps on doing miraculous stuff and this side romance bs. Sorry for the rant.
