Yoneda-sensei really put so much thought on story line, I really admire how she make yaoi manga heavy, but so fluffy at same time (of course when doumeki and yashiro together). Also, why nobody talks about how loyal Nanahara is? His dedication to Yashiro deserves thousands praise.
I know I love Nana. He and Sugimoto both love Yoshi. I like howYoshiro is trying to protect everyone. Nana and Sugimoto are left with Kageyama and he tried to kick his Bae Doumeki to the curb, he is even trying to distance himself from Misumi. So glad Doumeki ain't having that sht
Heejae is so damn cute. I don’t care if he has fucked up personality. Don’t you ever think Heejae’s personality is the closest if compared to real life twisted human? Sure it ain’t rainbow unicorn. His character development deserves standing applause.
Behind all messed up situation, if you see it from other perspective, this story is so simple and warm-hearting. LOVE IT!!
Why so many negative feedback? Indeed this story has weird vibe there and there, but I think character development is not bad, the plot also simple and short. There are other manga weirder and confusing than this you know.
Saezuru is my all time favorite manga to the point I would cry whenever an update released (yes true). I’m here not for just intense sex although IT WAS AWESOME, this manga provide more than that! Great storyline, character development, and the personality itself. If you have fluffy heart, then it’s not for you. We deal with tragic past and horrible life path, but to think this would be a great romantic story despite all those yakuza plot, it blows my mind! Yoneda Kou has class. Thanks Kayura, Lustfulcat and team for the translate, real heroes don’t wear cape!
Agree, it's probably one of my favourites too. I think it's bold how the author has chosen to address the issue of trauma in a relatively realistic way, ie there is no "cure" or "fluffyness" but and people around him are cruel or apathetic. It will be sad when the series eventually ends (which hey could be in another 10 years), but it provide a more realistic and humane portrayal of the whole yakuza trope and an adult survivor of abuse.
I love both Heejae and Sunyool, but if I had to choose one, still definitely Heejae. I’m alone here :’)

Okay this may be an unpopular opinion here, but I kinda like Heejae. I’m not saying he’s not fucked up for what he did to jisuh, but that how it is. He has his own insecurities and as the story goes he started to break. His development is quite fascinating.

I love the way their relationship is ‘so simple’ despite all yakuza thing around. They both mutually need each other. This is not a blind love, it’s more about loyalty and get ambition done. Yamato is so awesome since a lot of yaoi bottom is girl with dick. I’m rooting for his gut!
