That was pretty unnecessary. Idk maybe author drew it to show the pain and angst but it didn't fit well. Especially how their characters have been like since the beginning. I feel like authors forget that it is not the only way to show your frustration on your lover. Like there are countless ways you can actually show angst, pining, your yearning or That heartbreaking moment. They could have tried it instead of just pushing it so suddenly. I don't mind any kind of plot but this doesn't seem to be coherent even.
