Like, you could tell that they had feelings for each other the whole time but they were both huge fuckin' idiots till the end. Kota would've gone on thinkin' they were just childhood friends that fucked for pleasure and Tachi would've gone on thinkin' his possessiveness was just natural for childhood friends if Shimizu hadn't stepped in.

Is this a love triangle that's super dragged out cause I tend to stay away from them, to friggin mentally draining cause most of the time there is enough emotional rollercoaster rides to last me a lifetime ╥﹏╥ third person in the mix is too much for me to handle most of the time(￣∇￣")

There is a love triangle aspect but its not as drawn out or nasty as some series are. Im not a big fan of them either but i think this was handled nicely with good closure of a previous love and a new love. The characters (especially sunbae) are very mature about it.
as someone who hates stressful love triangles, reading this was a breath of fresh air
