I've been reading since the beginning stages of the novel and it's fire, I won't put it on a pedestal like all the normies that flooded on o otaku land during quarantine cause 1) unlike them it's not the only novel or manga I've read 2) even if it's crazy good there are some mangas and novels better than it. in my honest opinion omniscient reader is better by a lot but but SL is bang fuckin amazing and u should give the novel a try it's a 100% better than the mangaლ(´ڡ`ლ)

I stay away from love triangles and sad shit like it's friggin covid but this the one time I didn't read the fucking description and comments before starting and this is the fucking emotional, mental, and physical soul crushing shit I get. FUUUUUCK(╯°Д °)╯╧╧
This shit is a fucking master piece, it's better than the prequel, the story and plot was golden, the characters were all well written and portrayed so much so that I understand and sympathized with everyone of the decision each character made, and at least for me the events that take place and the whole story felt more realistic than most omegaveres.
To be honest the only reason I kept on reading and didn't immediately stop when I realized it not only had a sad story but also multiple love triangles, two of the things I hate the most, is because I wanted to see Otamu get his happy ending, I mean this dude had his whole
world fall apart twice and the second time was worse than the first time aside from Sumi Otamu seemed the most broken yet he pretends not to be and he continues to prioritize others happiness and wellbeing over his own and I found myself crying for Otamu more than anyone elses, but because the story and writing was so good I gradually became absorbed into the manga and couldn't stop reading no matter how much I cried and the relationship and love triangles weren't the cliche type were it's basically the same thing copy and pasted over and over it actually had dept to them.
Also fuck that asswhole thot alpha, the one who paired with Sumi, I swear if I ever see that mothertrucker out on the streets I'ma shank his ass. He literally almost ruined two people's lives, and one of them wasn't even involved with him in the first place, all because he refused to accept the reality of his past at face value, instead he focused on blaming all that happened to him on an innocent person who had done nothing at all cause he couldn't blame the actual person who was responsible cause they were above his status.
