I have a bad feeling that the new emperor might be the guy Dojin is affright of. And I wonder what that ball was. I think it has a deeper meaning and is very important, because the other guy interrupted just when Dojin was about to receive it.
I love this story, (the cliffhanger with the sister is pretty visious). It's sooo true but...(start of a rant, so please, skip it if you want) Why does the older generation think that marriage is the cure to everything? You live by yourself, hmm you MUST be lonely, get married! You are at a certain age and single, that is no good, you SHOULD get married! You have a long time partner and you get along pretty well, just get married ALREADY! Or like here, don't you feel lonely, getting home when noone is waiting for you, get married! AAAARGH! I can't talk about others, but for me this constant pressure and nagging makes me not want to get married. Why should I change my life with some guy? Just for them to shut up already, no thank you! I'm a girl so at a certain point I did dream about a white princess dress and my own prince charming, been in love but then tasted bitter betrayal. It's probably even worse if you are a guy. I might sound like a jaded, frustrated old maiden but that's how I feel right now. Sorry and thank you!

Yes, and if they see someone past their thirties and unmarried, despite whatever successes in life they may have, they feel pity for this person for being "lonely" smh

I think:
1) This new legendary doctor is either a fake or some shady guy. Accourding to the old doctor who came with them his diagnosis is either wrong or wrong on purpose which is yet unknown.
2) Taoist Shen is actually his "brother", but his memories were wiped out and his heart was probably damaged in the battle. Then he was brainwashed? His death was one big mistification, again for an unknown reason.
3) The noble sect whatever it's name is, isn't all that noble and the sect leader is hiding something either very evil or very dangerous, which was previously encovered by the MC and ML, so one of them was "killed" the other got imprisoned.
The art is beautiful (I love the water-coloured technique), the plot is seriously interesting, and I can't wait to read more.
I think the new doc is working together with the sect leader.
He is trying to seduce his retainer, that sexy pose with flowers and the exposed skin, someone is desperately trying his best. ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ
