The pacing of this one is so bizarre, made it quite difficult to comprehend a lot of the character’s thoughts/motivations despite it seeming like a simple “guy meets guy” story. I think this is more than just a translation issue.
I thought it was just me about the pacing! Wanted to read it and I feel like I’ve read similar stories that accomplish the same plot points but with different pacing more effectively. I feel like a lot and little happened at the same time which confused me and lots of points of distraction (like it took me a min to realize his gf’s name and that she worked at the bath before

Actually I think that's not it,.I think he hammered the thing that fell on his hand..he made the sad prolly either because of guilt or because he had to destroy the thing his father made to save him
