This actually happens sometimes. I’m a med student and just a few days ago in trauma triage room an acquaintance of my friend was brought in after an accident..looked completely fine with just a leg fracture but he couldn’t make it. He died within 3 hrs. Such cases are the most heartbreaking where you just can’t understand why bcz the patient looks fine.
My friend ALMOST died from internal bleeding and he looked alright in the hospital. All there was, was a big swollen spot by his rips-stomach area and some things like vomiting and shaking. Like injuries can always be inside snd not be seen by the outside, especially when it comes to car crashes.
That's why you should never pull the person out of the car, because who know what they mightve broken, etc

Medical professionals should. If they're stuck in the car and can't get out themselves, it's the best to leave them in there,, bc they mightve broken a rib or something and if u move them the wrong way, the injury can get worse.
Best is to listen to what the operator says on the phone.
