honestly these past 5 chapters have been the highlight of this entire thing. i wasn't super crazy about this series, and i mainly followed it because of the art style, but these past few chapters were probably the best thing they could have done to wrap up this plot. they're genuinely pretty sweet and seeing karlyle finally communicating his feelings feels pretty refreshing. hopefully they end it here and don't drag it out like the novel did.
