Each chapter makes me feel even more bad for Jian, that poor man who is actually so sweet, kind, caring, lovable, capable, competent, smart. He is used by everyone and not truly loved by anyone. I used to root for him and Jin to be together but even Jin is crazy and mean to him. He doesn’t truly love him, he’s just obsessed over him. Jitae’s crazy and obsessed about Mieum as well but at least he has a huge soft spot for him and is gentle and caring in how he treats him. Yes, even tho he has shackled him he still is, y’know? But Jin was so rough and dismissive to Jian, not listening to him and kept pushing him. And that fcking woman, I’m not gonna call her Jian’s “mom” because she doesn’t deserve that title.

I know I keep saying I’m confused about the plot(s) every time I comment on this manhwa but one of the many things I still haven’t understood yet is why and how Jitae’s mother was sent out of the way when she was the legitimate wife of that old man’s son/Jitae’s father? They were still married so how tf was Suryeon able to “take her place”? Because she took it before she killed her! Jitae’s mom was forced to divorce Jitae’s father, kicked out, sent away and then murdered. So this can’t be all due to pure blackmail or is it? Suryeon saying that Jian is his (Jitae’s father) son doesn’t even “count”, not because Jian isn’t even his real biological son but because “they had him” out of wedlock. They weren’t married so even if Jian was his biological son he would’ve been a bastard. So why chose Suryeon and Jian over Jitae and his mom when she was legitimately married to him? What kind of blackmail could she even have had for him and the grandfather to do this? Because the grandfather loved and preferred his original daughter-in-law (Jitae’ mom). And why tf did they not do a paternity/DNA test to see if Jian really was his son? You’d think uber rich and known people like them would be more wary, cautious and less trusting and gullible so that’s another huge flaw in this messy plot that doesn’t make any sense at all and gets even more confusing with each chapter. So the blackmail couldn’t have been that Suryeon would go public that Jitae’s father had another son that he’s disowning or neglecting because then they would have pushed for a paternity/DNA test, or were/are they so gullible, stupid and trusting that they wouldn’t have done that? But then Suryeon took a huge risk because they COULD have demanded that. Idk. It’s hella confusing and not making sense. So confusing. Any way, justice for Jian, free Mieum.

Is he really that clueless and oblivious or?

The whole importance behind the name tag is reminding me of the show The Glory. In that show a name tag was so important as well that people blackmailed and whatnot over it. You’d (we) think it’s not an important piece of evidence since it’s been too long but maybe it’s more “important” and different in Korean judicial system? Does anyone know?

I cannot wait and I truly hope that we’ll get to see Jaheon in a gang bang with all the Mugo’s - Sir, Lord, Monster and the possible 4th one, KYAAAA! (≧∀≦)
The panels where the jeweler went inside Mugo’s consciousness (is that what/where it is?!) with the staircase and when he fell reminded me of “The Sunken Place” from the movie Get Out!
The chibis are so cute in this chapter, especially Jaheon getting so happy for his ice cream!

PixieFairyDust November 6, 2025 2:05 pm

I hate it when people wear shoes inside the house and on their beds. But Yujin was wearing Converse in one panel and then suddenly slippers, did Aaron order his people to bring his home slippers immediately? Cuz if it’s the hospitals’, that’s some fancy slippers lol. And I love Yujin in Aaron’s arms, he really is his black lap cat. And I can’t get enough of their spicy scenes, this manhwa and Shutline have (ironically considering the “feud”) the hottest smut so I want as much as possible of it xD

For our sakes, she should at least experiment on the friend first before she unleashes her dominant wrath on the dad. Meaning: slapping and pegging the friend and then the dad

Imagine if Rosa ends up with the stepdad and the friend with the stepmom, lol, they’ll all just do a switch

It’s one thing if the mom said “no sweetheart, I can’t reach to the top of the tree so let’s wait until papa comes back home” but saying that it’s too heavy? I’m not the strongest person myself but how weak was the mom that she couldn’t lift a simple Christmas tree star? Was it made out of solid gold or what?! And then we see baby Yujin lifting it?!

It’s so unfair how the dad is blaming Yujin, it wasn’t his fault at all. It’s nice to see that he loved her so much and gave her a new rose every day, but to neglect and despise his own son? :-/

At first we were reading the chapter from Yujin’s POV, then it was suddenly speech bubbles from that woman, and then the dad. Found that a little weird and confusing.

When the mom was watching the tv and was mesmerized by the kid on screen, he had black hair and blue eyes. Was it really Aaron because Aaron has blond hair and green eyes. I know he could’ve dyed his hair black, duh. But they made him wear contacts too? Filmmakers don’t usually alter child actor’s looks that much by making them also wear contacts, usually it’s “only” makeup and altered hair like cutting it and/or coloring it or wigs. Unless it’s a vampire movie, they wouldn’t make them wear contacts also.

Baby Yujin had a blue hoodie just like adult Yujin!

In the last chapter Juheon had a flashback of a prior break in amd the intruder was a battered up Dohu with bandages, and now they said they arrested a crazy fan caught on the CCTV. So confused as to what’s going on. Did Juheon think it was Dohu but it was a sasaeng instead or?

    Chocho October 26, 2025 3:15 am

In the prior chapter, recall that Dohu had joked about breaking into the ML's place. Essentially when Juheon went home and saw the mess, in his panic, he likely superimposed Dohu's words onto what happened. But i am quite sure that Juheon never actually believed it was Dohu because they were both together at the meeting prior to this so it wouldve been impossible for Dohu to have done it.

This scene likely shows that Juheon still has some major trust issues, particularly towards Dohu, because his brain automatically thinks of Dohu as a potential threat even when he logically knows it wasn't possible.

Jaheon used to call Horny Mugo as Lord Mugo and the cake loving Mugo as Sir Mugo, but these latest chapters he’s been calling the Lord Mugo as Sir Mugo, hmm … what’s up with that? Last time I wanted a threesome with Jaheon, Lord and Monster. Now that the Sir got enticed, I want an orgy with Jaheon, Lord, Monster and Sir! All that’s missing is that the 4th Mugo (the shadow figure from the stairs) joins in too!

    Delorus October 24, 2025 5:22 pm

I noticed that too but i wonder if it's just a mistranslation, on purpose or Jaheon doesn't care anymore, he was pretty heartbroken, and call them all the same.
4th mugo looks more like the original, because of the clothes, or is the animal, the 3? headed snake, god they represent.

It could very well be a mistranslation because one of the characters from Shutline (Shin’s adoptive brother) had a different name every time and it bugged me so much. All his names were: Gren Heim, Grens Heim, Grens Heims, Gren Heims. Still haven’t found out which one was the correct one?! So annoying

In the beginning I thought that the original Mugo is the 4th Mugo (the aristocratic noble one), he had a great love (the man Jaheon is a reincarnation of) but he was taken from him by the head family because they saw him as a distraction of noble Mugo’s work, so they killed him and entrapped noble Mugo in that big urn and that trauma literally broke his heart and soul into different pieces/personalities. So all the different Mugo’s represent the original noble Mugo’s different sides. But then a few chapters ago Lord Mugo said that they were created by the head family? So that busted my theory :/

then again the heir lady did say something about if mugo "remembered the whole story" so maybe he doesn't remember anything from before he was trapped in the pot. so your theory could still hold up

PixieFairyDust October 15, 2025 3:21 pm

Okay, so about Juheon asking Dohu what he’s really doing there … I get why he’s asking that because Dohu said in the last chapter that he stalked him in the beginning and Juheon must’ve noticed/found out about it (that someone constantly asked about him at different sites) BUT Dohu was at this company first! He worked there first, there was a scandal or whatever with one of the talents so he had to drop out of the project and Juheon suddenly showed up wanting to audition/take over that role. Soooo …. Dohu was there first Juheon, and he could ask you the same thing
