The current relationship is not a romantic one, but of convenience: vampire needed blood, and Sooin desperately needed to escape his life or death situation. It’s not something Sooin could fully consent to, cause after all that torture anything is better and being treated with some form of decency could feel like love, but he knows it’s all a facade and he remains unloved but goes out of his way to please the vampire in the vain hope it’ll grow into that type of relationship, even when it’s detrimental to his own health. Sooin truly is one of the most heartbreakingly tragic ukes I’ve ever come across, because he’s done absolutely nothing wrong and is always at the mercy of more powerful men who use him and get what they want, while he never gets the same in return.
