i think because she wanted the power for destructive reasons the pillar chose the dude instead of her, bcus he only wanted the power to help her
Its funny that looks like she was liyng to herself that she wanted power just to defeat the Demon King, but she really just wanted revenge to those who make her suffer and die. And Claude began liyng to himself too, he didn't wanted a greater good, but his selfish desire was for a loved one.
This is so cute and that image of the manticore and the headless knight on chapter 5 made me laugh!
I'm getting tired of this story. I re-read it and the plot is just so rushed and there's no proper development, plot or character wise.
The previous seems much more cut-throat and suited to be a queen, she seems wise but then did she really turn a blind eye to her people?
This story is completely adorable, with the overly-doting father and brothers. I love the fact that she was born as someone great instead of being an unwanted princess.
