I skipped through all the verbal abuse, I couldn’t handle it. Especially directed at such a small child. It’s a good thing I did else I would have ugly cried more intensely than I did, that would have been a sight.

I just want her happy now with her maternal family surrounded by her hommies. The emperor (poor him but idc) and his mistress and the rest of their offspring can just butt out. I just know he’s gonna come with a lot of baggage that I don’t want him swinging around until I know FL is unconditionally loved, taken care of, secure and stable. And spoiled beyond all imagine. Then I’ll allow his royal highness to approach her and grovel.

On another note, I don’t trust original game’s MC. She’s just too sickly sweet to me.

Was enjoying this until I read some spoilers… I get that tragedy dramas get a lot of reactions from readers but that is one effed up story. If that’s how the author wants things to unfold, then I guess this is another DNF for me. I’m dropping this before I get too invested in the characters. Tsk. Stopped @ chapter 32.

Stopped at 37. I enjoyed it but can’t take this seriously. Can’t read it anymore. The kids are cute but the power balance between the foundations of this society is just so out of wack, how this kingdom still functions is a mystery. There is truth to the injustices and prejudice they have given that majority of the population are ignorant morons, but this is just too much bullshit for me to tolerate. DNF
