Stopped at 16. This is insanely good actually. Love the personality of the FL. And the ML is like so mysterious, I can’t tell what he’s thinking cuz he mimics human behavior, there’s like survival instincts kicking in. I don’t trust him one bit but I enjoy his interactions with the FL. I like how friendly they are with each other.

I’m stopping for a bit though cuz this will surely be a slow albeit uniquely good read. I’ll get back to it once I feel like tackling slow burn.

I’m always on edge reading this. The unjust and immoral society portrayed here has filled me with angst and frustration that I’ve done something so out of character and cussed out loud. It’s kinda meh but I anticipate the duel and how this would all pan out. I think I’m accumulating a lot of frustrations because the way the fl confronts conflict just isn’t hitting right. It’s logical, noble and admirable but it isn’t exactly something that would make me feel proud and smug about her victory. It isn’t giving me the tingling high I get from freshly served, crisp karma with a side of just vengeance! I ain’t getting any of that from this huhu

Stopped at 213. Got bored. Nothing to do with the excellence of this work. Just needed a change of pace.
