i think that chans feelings for the ml are/were genuine, i don’t know whether he still likes him but he definitely did.
And feelings can evolve and change when meeting someone new.
and we have to remember that he’s a highschooler figuring out things for himself!!

i have no issues with chan being bi but like i said, i just don’t think he’s being written very well. his infatuation with sami seems more like a plot contrivance than an actual depiction of a queer young person’s muddled feelings.

as it stands now, despite the few scenes of contemplation from him, i still think this shift in chan’s feelings are wholly abrupt and unearned (by the author) and that we were robbed of a much more interesting storyline (chan + sami being friends and rivals, in a sense) in service of an infinitely poorer one (every main boy falls in love with sami)

lol god, tabin is super uninteresting to me and i don’t think chan deserves that but i’ll take your word for their chemistry

i agree, i do feel like chan developing feelings for sami does slightly ruin the plot and is creating a reverse harem especially since tabin has been introduced.

That scene where tabin and chan pass by eachother in the hallway and tabin is thinking "damn he's cute" or smth like that made their chemistry click for me

He’s “nice” to her only when she is showing her cute side and doesn’t do much to help her with insecurities or beeing supportive in daily problems. I like the teasing parts, but they seem too much and too often.
I see why it gives you the vibe of parental figure, but that’s definetly not the case (nor it can become in the future). If they don’t end up together they’ll be acquaintances in my opinion. He has some feelings but they aren’t strong to make him change for the best. One wrong move and he’ll dump her, he doesn’t seem the patience type.

Her classmate is still imature and shy most time, but at least he’s trying to be by her side. They can grow together. But what is most important is for her to be more sicure and know herself better as you said.

i’m not gonna hold this against you because you genuinely seem to have difficulty understanding things and seem really young but again, calling a female character a bitch and whore and stupid over what is clearly supposed to be a learning experience for her is misogynistic. those terms are misogynistic no matter what you believe and female characters (who are more unfairly maligned than male ones) bear the brunt of it. fl did know better before getting into a relationship (think about her deep held belief that love doesn’t last) but ml was persistent to the point of getting injured trying to prove his love to her so they gave in. it’s literal text, we’re warned their first round at it will not go well.

also, people treat each other badly over irrational beliefs all the time; it’s the universal human experience. have you not ever fought with a loved one over something someone else would believe to be “silly”? this is just that, amplified x100 because it’s a manhwa. do people start calling you a bitch over that? yes, fl hurt the ml but that’s the “conflict” of the story and we have to read to know if and how she changes because of that. read my original comment again and then this and like i said, read a few more books (preferably not fanfic or other manhwas/mangas)
