No, that was the aunt who just passed away. He basically got into the relationship in the first place because he made a promise to his aunt who was dying, and the aunt made that promise again with the FL as well not to leave him alone, which she threw at him in a bold last attempt to hold onto him. I think he's just petrified of losing her next because everyone he loves ends up leaving him in some way. Plus, he does NOT think she loves him, and she's too scared to be honest just yet.

I just saw the raws, and it seems the seme was abused by his mother pretty severely as a kid. His dad then took him away to live with him, and that's how he met the uke's mother (the ones who sadly died). Anyways, the seme was a mess, and the first person to love and care for him and probably the first person he trusted was the uke, and then, it just continued from there. Plus, his first rut was with the uke, so from what I understand of the omegaverse, that is basically your soulmate from that point onward, right?
Also, the uke as we know was injured, and so he too relied on the unconditional love that the seme was dying to give growing up, and now they're kind of obsessed with each other although I will say the seme is A LOT more obsessed as the uke sometimes thinks it's best he moves on although I don't think he means it. He just is kind of ashamed of their relationship and similar to Haesoo and Joowon in some ways with one trying to go back to being brothers even though the parents are long gone with these two, but deep down you know they are in love and will come back to one another.
Anyways, the childhood friend is another fan of the uke's who was in love with him way back when and is trying to take him away from the seme, and the seme gets very upset about it. In the end, the seme apologizes for that behavior, and I think he may confess to the uke after that because those scenes look romantic and intense. Their chemistry is pretty ridiculous.
Then, this crazy mofo who probably injured the uke an ex-lover aka the REALLY crazy person finds him, and he tries to hurt him or maybe hurt and or sexually assault him, but the brother shows up and is like not on my watch, bitch! Sorry, I'm rooting for them because of the past they endured together and then found each other.
