Bro assaults the MC after he begs him to stop, then MC goes back to him because he had no one else and then we find out that the LI is the whole reason MC’s life fell apart??? This is just a terribly written story with no emotions or logic attached. I’d genuinely rather read some rape slop like jinx cause you can at least feel something other than anger for the characters.
Jinx and this are the same in level of disgusting story-telling. Jinx just has way better art and marketing. That's how I feel anyway.
I felt empathetic for Kim Dan while reading jinx, as for this manhwa the story is so poorly written I can’t even feel bad for the MC.
I hope he gets exposed for the asshole he is and gets hated by the public for him to get off his high horse and get his head out of the clouds. Narcissistic characters are the WORST.

Im on chapter 77 and this story is already killing me. Its portrayal of Je-Oh’s character is so so human. His trauma response of running away and bottling up his emotions resonates really deep with me. It’s refreshing to see realistic SA representation in manhwa but also it’s so unexpected I never could have expected it going into this story. I’m terrified to continue reading this tomorrow and I’m just gonna pray Je-Oh and Seong-rok can find some peace together. Sending my leftover strength to all the other readers currently on the verge of tears.
It is kinda goofy especially how the author drew the red guy at times but I did enjoy how it treated the religious corruption and traditionalism aspect.
If the MC was the one to be forced into it by begin penetrated the church would see him more as a victim and more pitiful than if he was forced into it by begin the one penetrating in which his victim status would be undoubtedly questioned.
By raping the MC and taking his virginity (btw begin raped does not make you loose your virginity but that’s how it’s seen in the story so I will go off that) in the confessional red guy humiliated him in front of his god he loves so much, just like how the MC humiliated the red guy in front of his classmates even though the red guy loved the MC.
By making MC suck him off in the classroom he had forced red guy to lick his fingers is a pretty obvious power reclamation.
And the thing that I think was really subtle but really smart. Making the chain of the necklace huge and chunky. Most religious cross necklaces have very thin and delicate chains and this one looked almost heavy. Just like how religion binds people to rules they disregard (because that’s the human nature) and just like the red guy tied the MC onto him forever.
Oh and also the red guy is designed like a stereotypical demon that’s funny cause his expressions are the scariest.
Maybe I’m reading too much into it but I’m just a gal with religious trauma who enjoys gay porn idk
