It is kinda goofy especially how the author drew the red guy at times but I did enjoy how it treated the religious corruption and traditionalism aspect.
If the MC was the one to be forced into it by begin penetrated the church would see him more as a victim and more pitiful than if he was forced into it by begin the one penetrating in which his victim status would be undoubtedly questioned.

And the thing that I think was really subtle but really smart. Making the chain of the necklace huge and chunky. Most religious cross necklaces have very thin and delicate chains and this one looked almost heavy. Oh and also the red guy is designed like a stereotypical demon that’s funny cause his expressions are the scariest.
