Yes, I'm joining the people who've read the novel and didn't give spoilees but just recommended reading the novel for yourselves. I started reading it after the first 10 or so manhwa chapters got published here, I'm not yet done with it but it's 100% worth it!!
Earlier I already felt that the manhwa was going a bit fast, and now that I've been reading the novel, I definitely agree. I understand adaptations have to cut out stuff often but I feel like they could've given a bit more in the manhwa :")
I completely forgot if it was mentioned that Ian and Annabelle are 22, and Aaron (pink-haired guy) is 20, I only rememeber thanks to the novel and me being surprised - I would've thought they were 2-4 years younger.
I will admit, loved seeing Annabelle blush with her whole confrontation with Ian about the bookmark. And of course, Ian is never escaping the pegging comments with how he reacted to being pinned down by Annabelle ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

I'm actually so down for more of these stories with hunter/dungeon settings where the story is more of a slice of life/romance/comedy genre rather than action - especially where the MC is a woman. I'd love to get more women as MCs in the hunter/dungeon settings in general (especially action since a lot of the ones with male MCs tend to sexualise women or just. Don't know how to treat/write them well), but I'm happy to see more of a chill side to this genre. I feel like this is even better for these settings where human civilisation has learned to adapt to dungeons/hunters and it becomes part of daily life. (⌒▽⌒)

OKAY AND NOW WE MET HER BIO MOTHER, ALREADY?? I'm all here for it but now that it's obvious I want the truth to come out ASAP, and/or her to spend more good time with her real bio family (even if they don't realise they're related yet). Love the future mother-in-law but I also want Annabelle to spend time with her real parents and brother, who'd def care for her no matter what.
Honestly at this point I'm lowkey expecting the truth to come out before chapter 20. Pretty please. You can't give us something so obvious so quickly and only reveal it much later on ;;

At this point I read so many of these stories that I don't care to take them too seriously (plus this is clearly drawn closer to a comedic series rather than drama), so seeing the pink-haired man's pendant with purple hair (his younger* sister) while mentioning an anniversary, which happens to be MC's birthday... it's so obvious and cliche I started laughing (in a good way) ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
It was so cliche I had to go "no way, are you kidding me" while trying my hardest not to laugh out loud. Also, if you look at chapter 10, you can see the two have the exact same style of bangs it's definitely intentional and I'm all here for it lmao. I just hope the characters figure it out soon too, it would be frustrating to show us something so platantly obvious and dance around it for the next 20 chapters. Can't wait for her to get her real family back and receive the love she deserves.
*EDIT: I decided to try and read the novel for a bit and turns out HE is the younger sibling. Annabelle and ML are 22 and he's 20, I think.

Damn, I'm so surprised to see people hate the idea of the dad getting married and Amelia gaining a mum. Literally most of the childcare stories here only include a father and some brothers, having a mum or a close female figure (other than a maid) is so rare in these stories Σ( ̄□ ̄||)
Idk why exclusively daughter-dad combos are so popular, do so many people have only dad issues (/joking)? I'm gonna admit that I know very well I have parental issues both ways, it's probably why I adore the found family trope or when a MC gets more than one parent/parental figure to dote on them. Especially if it's a woman!! I'm sick and tired of female characters being hostile towards each other, I want more love (no matter what kind) between female characters ╥﹏╥ it's partially why I'm excited for "The Male Lead's Little Lion Daughter" and its future, I remember when the comic first started years ago someone said that we'll eventually get a loving mother figure for Leo as well. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the dad, but again it's so damn rare to have good female characters/with good female relationships in this genre, of course I'd be excited.
So yeah, I'm clearly hoping for another parental figure for Amelia. At least those who drop this bc of such reasons have tons of other options out there, haha :"))
It's not even about romance with the dad, I don't care about that. Hell, I love the idea of a political marriage where instead of a romantic relationship, the couple have a platonic relationship and are just good friends. It's more about the MC getting an older close female character (other than a maid) who she could rely on and be doted by.
Edit: I should specificy that I mean childcare genre where the MC is the child. There are tons where the FMC is the one taking care of a child/children yes, but I'm not referring to those series with this comment.

It's not like I want romance for the dad, I don't care about that. Hell, I love the idea of a political marriage where the couple doesn't have a romantic relationship but are just good friends instead. It's about the FMC getting a close older female character (other than a maid) who she can rely on and be adored by just like the dad.

People really out here ignoring the fact that Reizen was already considerably older than her when they met in her previous life, never mind this one - AND he's a friend of her current self's father! Sure, we may know her true age but if he were to try to get with her, ew, red flags
I get it y'all are tired of the CP route, I get it I really do, but this story isn't giving that feel to it as much since their dynamics together is interesting imo :") either way there's no way I could prefer Reizen when I know these facts, even if I was initially hoping for him

It does seem like the twin is a dude, just looking at how they're drawn compared to MC and Elaine/elf (another gender confuser). I was really hoping for a girl to get added to the cast of main characters,,, I'm not really a fan of reverse harems and their vibes, even if the other male characters won't be romantically interested in MC but still be very attached. Just one other girl is enough, please, then i wouldn't care if all of them are super attached to her I just don't want them all to be men and men only
I could still be wrong on the twin but looking at how their chest is super flat and has no shape (again, compare with MC) + Elaine's reaction I'm pretty sure I'm right.

While I was hoping they wouldn't die, this is the reality of war. We did get to see death flags as readers, but death is often sudden and unexpected. I also think that this was needed to show/remind us just how difficult and brutal this "game" is, and that we can't expect the characters to survive just because they became more important.
I'm fearing that at least one of the higher-ranked characters will die during this battle too, but I really hope not. I'm attached to all of them and it would suck to see any one of them just die like that, but at the same time, I know it'd be another reminder for the characters and us readers that things aren't going to be easy. :(
Last time I checked the comments there was one surprise (hate??) thirst for prof V, I was not expecting to see more of those, y'all really like him
Not that I can blame you, I feel similarly about prof Garcia (the half-orc/-troll), I'm so fucking gay for her and always have been, I need her to pin me down and show off those muscles
In the future, we will se so much crazy people that voladi will seen sane hahahaha
