no i the end he was trying to kill himself to be with the ghost but he was saved by the guy who can see ghost and he was able to contact the ghost one last time and started moving on. in the end i'm not sure if the ghost was truly there or if he imagined it.
No offence to you guys sharing your personal stories and experiences on Alex's preference of nothing wanting a relationship but this is a BL manga, it's kind of obvious that Alex will soon start to fall for DG. It will just take some time with a little obstacles and frustrations. My prediction is that another male will approach DG romantically and be seen as a threat to Alex and he will get jealous and be closer to his feelings
