This shouldn't hurt as much as it does This is the kind of "let's wrap things up and move on" movie ending that is always happy and lighthearted but also so very melancholy and it stings my heart so damn much ugh. It's like: "ok our story is told, we're gonna live by ourselves now, the show is over and you are just another viewer! Bye!" Bitch nooooooo, i want your story still to be part of my life for another 100 chapters I can't let goooooo!!! Don't do this to me!!! Lmao this is how dependent I am on this webcomic... I truly feel so heartbroken, looking forward to another update always helped me get through the week. I love Jiwon and Dong-Gyun so damn much, two of my favorite characters of all-time. And to let them go really really hurts. Literally feels like a break-up I can't get over lol

Hm people pick up fujitsu's projects left and right at the moment even though she announced she is on a hiatus. But I also see other projects getting picked up recently even though the translators never stopped working on them and it's still updating once a month or so. When private livejournal groups were the thing we waited sometimes even up to a year for a chapter and it was a strict rule not to pick up a project someone else is working on. Even if it didn't get updated for years the groups would still ask for permission to pick it up.
It's well-meant and charitable that people take it upon themselves to update a project so the releases won't be so slow but I think what this will lead to is professional groups going private again... and getting into these groups is a whole 'nother obstacle... let me tell you that.
But then again, I get it. Back in the day super long manga chapters were released once a month or even half-yearly, now in the times of webtoon publishers super short webtoon episodes get released weekly. And it can be painful to wait for them especially with all the suspension and cliffhangers that webtoons have in contrast to well-rounded long manga chapters. Times are changing and things go faster but they also aren't as satisfying anymore, you just want more as soon as you finish the episode.
Another problem here is that the internet changed so much and mangago is a whole community now similar to SNS. And this community doesn't know the old ways of the groups who provide for them. Those groups are not really apart of mangago, they still work in their old ways within their own little communities on either a blog, discord, tumblr or livejournal.
It would be best if mangago would fucking finally name and tag the group that works on a project (like many other aggregator sites do now) and also put out a code of conduct (also for the comment section) so people know what's up. Mangago has so much power now in the realms of scanlation but they really do nothing with it.
And scanlation groups now maybe should try to work on less projects. Times change and people are more impatient than ever. And the future is micro. Smaller groups working on 1-3 projects it's where it's at now. There are amazing 'modern' micro groups (who formed on mangago) with only 2 people or so that only work on 1 project and they do amazing work and are super fast at the same time.
And we as readers should learn to be more patient. We live in times where there is an overabundance of not only free webtoons and manga but also music, movies, series, games, novels etc. And all of them are so easily available. There is really no time to get bored or to not find something else in the meantime.
And people who can't wait for the next update and wanna start translating themselves can always apply as a member of the scanlation group that is working on that project instead.

I had the same thoughts, but not the proper words to say it, so thank you for wording this so nicely!! personally, I think I will wait for Fujitsu to come back, since, at no offense to the translator, I have poor reading comprehension and struggled to understand what was happening in the chapter. I agree that it would be great if this site could name out the scanalate group!

thank you so much! i will wait for fujitsu too, nothing beats a good quality scanlation. but who knows if she is in the mood to still update after almost all of her projects are getting picked up.....
mangago really needs to name the groups and lay down some rules, as you can see even after we all said fujitsu is still working on it it still got updated. if there is a known rule of etiquette people will leave it, but without that people don't really care about etiquette.

so weird this is going to end when its the most successful webtoon on lezhin. i was confident that they would bless us with 3 more seasons i mean there is still so much more that can be told...

same!! and DGs family... but the last few chapters felt already rushed, a lot was left out. like the talk, "clearing the misunderstandings", after they got together, or DGs reaction after Jiwon told him about the asshole student council incident 3 chapters or so ago.... so it already looked like the author wanted to wrap things up.. still i had hope left ;___; i kinda still can't accept it i love them too much

I just wanted to skim through it but it turned out to be one of the best reads I had in a while! Muyoung is the cutest character ever!!! Reminds me a bit of Haru from Free (and Seonho a little bit of Makoto, probably that golden retriever x black cat trope lol)
But I'm quite bummed out that it's gonna be censored... lightsaber dicks are already enough... so annoying and don't see the purpose in that.

Dong-gyun helped Jiwon to overcome his fear of love, to get rid of his need for attention from others and to let go of his fake perfect persona to protect himself. Dong-gyun healed Jiwon's trauma and now Jiwon can just be himself and concentrate on cuddling with DG for the rest of his life
Also I don't don't don't want it to end!!!! We need a second season... there is so much left to explore and tbh I love a good wholesome lovey-dovey story without big drama and plot. Just seeing Jiwon all in love with DG is enough for me and tbh the highlight of my week lmao. If you agree leave a nice reply to Mingwa on twitter, maybe she reconsiders doing a second season
Omg yes!! before i wasn't so much into josei/shojo smut but now I'm super into it, especially the cliche tropes I couldn't stand a few years ago. I'm so glad more and more of these are popping up! I hope authors start getting more into this kinda porn again after the BL genre became so oversaturated. I love BL and when I was younger BL always was the way to go, but now I love seeing female characters again and there is just a difference if it's done by a female author.
