So for this reason uploaders decide to upload a little later so people who do have to money will buy it because they are impatient. What is it with this comment section.... this webcomic is not hard to understand at all. It may be 18+ because of the smut but the plot is very easily digestible like any YA plot. Even at age 12 I would've had the capacity to understand the plot and characters. But for some reason people on here struggle with that. Hyesung lives with childhood trauma, it's something you can never get rid of, you can only learn to cope with it. He is deeply insecure because of it, this insecurity is the core of his being. Everything is overshadowed by his insecurity, it influences every of his actions, how he sees the world and how he thinks the world sees him. Most people are insecure and have insecure attachment issue, especially when young, so you should be able to relate to that.
And on a bad day when so many situations occur that feed his insecurity, where at any given moment it looks him directly in the eye, then it can happen that it all becomes too much for him and he lashes out. But he only once raised his voice with Byul, on all other instances he has been a loving mom. Raising your voice sometimes is completely normal as a parent, parenthood is incredibly hard so it can happen, it won't damage the child. You have to understand that Hyesung feels so unworthy of love. He resents and hates himself the most. When he sees himself in Byul he feels guilty because he loves Byul so very much and he doesn't want 'his genes' to burden Byul later in life. He feels guilty for being Byul's mom, he feels guilty for being Dobin's husband/wife, he feels guilty for existing and taking up space in this world. This deep insecurity and self-hatred isn't something you can shake off. And he has done very well so far dealing with that burden and trauma of his, he might be stubborn and childish but he never truly hurt others. Hyesung to me is the most lovable character out there, I can emphasize with him a lot and so can a lot of other readers. That so many people do not have the capacity to understand him shows what is wrong with the world.
This is off topic and I'm always thankful for the uploads but I have to say that I have lowkey beef with sites like c00lmics. Manga are meant to be read in the format that they were created for. Changing it to webcomic format does never translate well, it changes the flow and the overall look, vibe, aesthetic of the story. Especially if someone else than the author does edit it (which is the case here). Before I noticed that these official webcomic manga translations were actually normal manga I always thought they were like "low budget" manga from indie creators. Then later I found out that those were legit manga who get published in magazines etc. But with changing it to webcomic format the overall image quality becomes bad and the flow of the story gets weird and seems abrupt because the panels are not structured how they are meant to be. When comparing with the original format there is such a huge difference. The webcomic format cheapens it and makes an overall high quality manga look low budget. It also must take time and work to edit so why go through the hassle if it destroys the flow and quality of the story? I know it's for ease of reading but it's not worth it if that's the outcome. And honestly if you are used to reading manga you don't have trouble reading. This is my rant for today. It really bothers me... the worst is if they color the manga and I'm sure it's never the authors themselves who do it because it always has that cheap and tacky look to it.
Umm... Seunghyun expecting Hojun to not be angry and Hojun just being like "oh no I was being angry I should apologize" is not a good dynamic... if I was in Seunghyun's shoes I'd feel like shit and if I was in Hojun's shoes.... I'd feel like shit. This isn't something you could just brush off like that because you need to trust someone in a relationship, even the littlest things could hurt you because you thought you could trust your partner and this right here is definitely not a little thing, especially since this is how the relationship started. The way both of them handle it makes Seunghyun look like an arrogant asshole and Hojun like a anxious insecure puppy who would easily fall into an abusive relationship dynamic. Also the irony that the backstory with the ex was literally nothing... like I don't even understand what Seunghyun exactly was mad about at that point in time. So why exactly is he expecting Hojun to not be angry now? I don't know what the fuck the author is doing here but I don't think any of it was on purpose lol

O yea n for the og topic I mean I get y he seems like an asshole for not expecting hojun to be angry but he did reflect upon himself and say he was gonna call hojun the next day to apologize.
