This is ssssLIGHTLY different than what happened in the novel. Asher said to put everything on credit, not Aria. Aria was still spiraling when this all happened...I really wish that the artists wouldn't Movie Hermione Granger this and steal other people's lines....

Huh? Asher DID say to put it on *credit* on both the manhwa and the novel. Aria then proceeds to say she wants to be the one to pay for it, so she wants it to be under her tab, for alibi. it goes exactly as it does in the novel. the only missing thing is Aria and Asher going back and forth insisting who's tab it will be.

It's been a while since I've read the novel so, if I'm wrong I'm wrong and that's fine, but I was pretty sure that Aria was confused at first when they walked into the viscount's place and Asher said to put everything on credit and he will pay later and the viscount was like no, I know it's you and I'm not going to have the prince on credit. And Asher insisted. And aria is like wth, I have jewelry to pay and he's like no, credit. And so they both sign the ledger. At the very beginning of them walking in.

well you're not wrong. At first Aria was confused and told Asher she didn't bring any gold coins, then Asher said he'll buy it on credit. The viscount then offered to pay, but Asher insisted on credit then asked the count to write down the date and time. Then as you said, they signed together so it would leave trace.
oh and the novel is ch 167
Honestly at this point most of us are going to drop after chap 174 and for good reason. If you want a good substitute and you HAVEN'T heard of this one, give it a go! It's one of my favorites and the art style is fantastic! Here is it: Volcanic Age
It has over 200 chapters, great character development, interesting plot, a CLEAR CUT love interest, fantastic fight scenes, pretty much anything you can hope for.
This, of course, is only a recommendation and you don't have to read it BUT it's really good!
Happy reading everyone. And sorry for our loss.
