Currently debating if all of this is worth the pain- but a genuine question:
Was there a point where you think the MC reaped what he sow in season 1? Because i can’t help but feel so bad for ML’s ex-omega wife(correct me if im wrong) from what i’ve read through the comments and how did all that ended up with ML being obsessed with the MC?
Its worth it.
the ml's wife, Rapiel got his justice. His assaulters got killed by ml in the second life, the mc got really looooooong years of violence and sa and die cruelly like the Rapiel so the debt between them have ceased. In this new life, theyre free of sins. In a way, the ml payed his sins by killing rapists.
After the 2nd child.
Kloff already got the kids he wanted and Aeroc already paid for his mistake. In the court of law intent is very important. Aeroc never intended to kill Rachael.
By the time he birth the 2nd child, Aeroc already lost his fortune, been beaten and raped more times than he could count and was pushed to suicide. That was more than enough.
Agree with the couple post before. In my case, the apology didn’t feel sincere to me at all, could it be the resting bitch face??? Idk the lack of expression is ruining it all. I still feel bad for the MC but i also admire that he still holds his ground, MAKE ML SUFFER MORE BOO!!!
Anyways, l can’t believe i gave this dumb of an ML the benefit of the doubt, i literally thought he had a good reasons for him lashing out at MC but NO. God, what a major disappointment. Ik that people aren’t perfect and he can atone but the atonement is still not worthy to me
i think he was severly traumatized from the past, he had a horrible childhood and endured longstanding abuse. so Eugene was a trigger for him and he lashed out in the most reactive way, plus he has power so his lashing out is equally severe (see: imprisonment, abuse of power etc etc).
this is not to excuse him or anything, i was just trying to figure out the same thing but then i realised like ohh i just think the author didnt do a great job of setting that up. they only mentioned his childhood once and dont do a great job of showing the connection between his trauma, his overreaction, and his emotional state/thought processes to let us develop any empathy or even understand his character at all. maybe they do better in the novel tho ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
EXCUSE ME THAT WAS THE ENDING???THAT??? omg i actually wasted my time, I thought that there was more and i really wanted Minwoo to know that ML is a crazy master manipulator and lowkey hoped it ends with tragedy with ML regretting everything. Really didnt want him to win at all djskaka augh this suck(╯°Д °)╯╧╧
