The other spoiler I read (from one of the comments here) Emil was going to act to like princess trash because he found a hint about their plans against Estelle’s family. And Estelle was left in the dark as usual and will get her 2nd heart break or some sort. Based on that, Emil was perfectly sane and was not under any spell. Ahh but I don’t know which version is true or if yours and their’s are related.

Yeah imma drop this. The story is kinda boring and I was really looking forward to it from the promo art. And then u see chapter one and u think .. hold up is this really the right story?! Then u read alittle more and it is and that's just .. disappointing (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
You shouldn't expect much from the promo. The summary is great and the art is great so we would normally think the manga would be the same. Sadly, authors put alot of effort in promos but not the chapters since you have to continue writing the same art but promos is a one time thing.
I do see ur point. But I think that for people who actually buy this. After having looked at the promo to get what we have now I mean .. I would be upset because its false advertising in a way. I know I can't talk since I'm not spending my own money. However if I was I'd be disappointed.
I think he didn't have the heart to plant the virus and that's why they are calling him a traitor or maybe because of the forged documents. Oh no my heart is unsettled I'm worried!!
