With the way Joowon is treating Haesoo, you would think that Haesoo is a sex sleeve. Haesoo even remembered that awful forced blowjob while trying to give Taku a blowjob and started crying - Joowon fucking traumatized him.

i don't think that's what 'traumatized' him. Haesoo's biggest fear is being abandoned, he has a low self esteem, and ever since one of his ex's told him he's unable to love, it's been haunting him.
I wouldn't say the relationship with joowon traumatized him, but over the years it just changed him. For the worse, obviously.
But the scene where Haesoo was literally having flashbacks of Joowon forcing him into a blowjob as he was about to go down on Taku, really showed that it triggered him. He started crying. I know Joowon can be rough, but I wonder if it was the first time that Joowon forced H to do something he said clearly No to, then it would definitely make sense that it traumatized and hurt him deeply. Fuck, Joowon is just getting worse and worse, I can't stand him seeing around Haesoo.

Yes it is Joowons fault, I never denied it lol. They're both fault for fucking up their relationship (not only joowon), however Joowon started and always had the lead. Haesoo's clearly the one who suffers the most :/
Yeah Joowon is quite a forceful person, buy I doubt he ever did something so awful like in that car scene... At least I hope so.

It's not just a poor assumption based on this one sexual encounter. I think you're forgetting all their other sex scenes. Just go back and read their other sex scenes, even when Haesoo doesn't want it, Joowon's going to get it. Like continuing even after Haesoo has said no or coming inside of him especially when Haesoo said not to and Joowon even said he wouldn't. Haesoo even slapped him after that, and Joowon was even happy that Haesoo got upset. Based on experience, Haesoo knew that Joowon wouldn't leave him alone. And it has happened sexually before, we have every one of their sex scenes as proof of that.

...I think you need to reevaluate what you consider normal (by which, I'm assuming you mean consensual/healthy) sex. You accused me of making poor assumptions before, but your reply is full of poor assumptions? This isn't a typical BL, where a seme ignoring his uke's words is considered normal, this author is aware of consent and healthy sex. Coming inside of someone after being told not to may not be as offensive as forcing a blowjob, but it's still awful and abusive. If anything, this should tell you that Joowon is escalating. I wouldn't be surprised if he attempts to rape Haesoo later on when he realizes that Haesoo is no longer under his control.

I'm not on joowons side fyi. And yeah the author does seem to mimd the difference between healthy and unhealthy sex, but still.. I just dont see anything joowon did earlier close to that forced blowjob.
And oh my god I keep worrying about Haesoo getting raped as well, It for sure wouldn't surprise. I hope it won't happen ,-,

I know, I saw your other comments elsewhere, I can't remember if you're Team Taku or if you just want Haesoo to be happy. I guess coming inside without permission doesn't seem as bad, but I know that in real life it feels awful and completely destroys your trust in the other person, it feels like you've been violated (didn't happen to me, happened to friends). I'm glad I'm not the only who is worried about potential rape! I don't want Joowon to stoop to that level, and I don't want Haesoo to go through something so terrible.

If this series ends with Haesoo being with himself, I'll take that to be a perfect ending. The kid needs self-love more than anything.

Haesoo doesn't need to be alone to learn self love... and expect that a MC end up alone in a Yaoi story is not really realistic. We are here to read a love story... if it's the end of one and start of a new one or the fixing of an existing one.
Haesoo needs what is happening to him right now ... incentive to rethink what he always had and if that is what he will want from now on. The plot is not only about Haesoo nor it is about Haesoo old flame and he moving on by himself. Taku is very much part of the story as much as Haesoo himself and Joowon. We are learning about Joowon and Haesoo past and present... and it doesn't make sense to introduce Taku just to ignore him in the plot.
Haesoo will end up with one of them and this author knows how to write stories with good relationship development so don't worry ... Even if Haesoo doesn't end up alone as you wish, he will have reached the self love you mentioned and the person he end up with will probably be the one that values that.

Haesoo specifically needs to be alone to learn self-love. He is constantly in some sort of relationship, as if he doesn't value himself without it. I'm not here to read a love story, I'm here to read about these characters and their development. I don't really understand what you're against here, I never said that Joowon or Taku are unnecessary parts of the story or that Haesoo should just get better by just doing it. This situation he is in now will help him to get to where I want him to be, I never said this situation is unnecessary. And I never implied that Taku should just be introduced and then go away. All I said was that I want Haesoo to love himself, and if he ends up with no one and loves himself, that would be a perfect ending. I know this author knows how to write about healthy relationships, I've read Fools. And from this story, she also clearly knows how to write about people. Haesoo does need to be alone, and he especially needs to be away from Joowon for a long time. He's been carrying an immense amount of pressure, guilt, burden and unfulfilled expectations due to their continued relationship. Taku can still be an important part of the story without getting together with Haesoo in the end, we're already seeing that importance now with how he's affecting Haesoo. Seeing him get beat down by everyone around him but Taku shows just how important Taku will be to Haesoo. In the end, we're agreeing on everything, we both want Haesoo to love himself regardless of who he does or doesn't get with. The only part we may not agree on is that Haesoo doesn't need to be alone, but someone like him absolutely does - he's a codependent mess, he needs to be okay with being alone before being able to be someone. If he does end up with someone, cool. But I don't care about that, I'm not here for that; I want to see how he develops into loving himself.

Chapter 73 Spoilers
This chapter should satisfy those who were wondering about DG calling Jiwon seonbae. Like DG, Jiwon was also abstaining from alcohol after his alcohol-fueled sex session with DG earlier in the series, so he and DG decide to get together and drink to make better drunk memories. DG gets drunk and cuddly very quickly. Drunk DG asks Jiwon if he can call him hyeong, but Jiwon still associates that word in a romantic context with his scum ex and feelings of rejection, so he says no. Drunk DG gets upset and even asks about Jaejin calling Jiwon hyeong (Jiwon considers Jaejin purely as a dongsaeng, so no romantic context at all to remind him of his ex), and he says that Jiwon doesn't even call him Donggyunie when it's just the two of them. He runs off upset to the bedroom, and Jiwon thinks about it. He even googles it and learns about the importance of titles in a relationship. After thinking about how they first started and where they are now in their relationship, he goes to DG, calls him Donggyun-ah and tells him he can call him hyeong. DG excitedly does so with many variations (hyeong, Jiwon hyeong, Jiwonie hyeong), and Jiwon finds him so cute that he gets hard and kisses DG. I guess after that, they'll start having sex. Also, it appears that Jiwon told DG about the scum ex already, probably during their unspoken conversation, since he was explaining why he didn't want to be called hyeong to DG on the bed.

what a useless comment
I hope this story will be about Na Kyum's rise to power once he realizes he's being betrayed by everyone, except technically Seungho, who is pretty direct, but he's abusive to him so he's still awful. Who knows, maybe Seungho's love for the paintings will become (or already is) love for Na Kyum and Na Kyum will use that, especially against In Hun and Seungho. If Na Kyum actually falls in love, that'll be something else. Regardless, I just want Na Kyum to be treated well, it's obvious he's been through a lot. I wonder what he saw or experienced as a kid to draw those scenes so vividly from such an early age.
My bad, down liked by accident
