Sorry! I voted you up. I meant to vote you down. I think he's becoming less and less confused and more and more tsundere.

I believe that shungiku-sensei understand how she wants the plot to go and I don't think we have any rights to critisize the characters that she created. Maybe that is just the way she wants onodera ritsu to be portrayed as. I don't mean to make it like a hate comment or anything like that. (⌒▽⌒)

Well it depends...if the plot is decent I don't mind a so called "sadist" seme. But there's a significant difference between being abusive and being an S. S/M is meant to be consensual. In reality an S is loving and kind to their partners outside the bedroom and kinky in the bedroom. Sadism isn't meant to make it acceptable for a man/woman to be overly controlling, bully people, etc. Its supposed to be a sexual kink based on mutual comprehension that the pain given to an M is meant purely as a means of pleasuring and/or training the M to enjoy more advanced levels of sensation. The S finds pleasure not in making someone suffer just for the hell of it - they enjoy making someone suffer specifically as a means to enhance sexual sensations. S/M, especially when it becomes BDSM, is based on a strong sense of trust and isn't meant to be practiced without either a written or spoken contract. Basically what I mean to say here is that the S personalities portrayed in bl manga aren't true sadists. They're abusive, selfish jerks. An S isn't selfish; he/she desires to give pain only to people in the sexual sense in order to intensify the pleasure their partners experience.

I read a bit of a lewd book by him and discovered his perversions were too extreme for me and that his idea of a good time would today be featured on Law & Order Special Victims Unit. Well, thank you for that long reply and umm you are right, usually i like that kind of couples too but sometimes its just makes me uneasy. I think it's because the manga skipped over like 2 years of high school. That and the ending was, once again, ambiguous. This is the mangaka's signature ending... no clear cut, definitive ending at all.
