What basically went wrong is just that Taesoo was too scared to admit his feelings for Chunwoo. That was literally the whole problem and they have been in that situation ship for years and years on end that I would assume because they’ve known each other since forever.
The sheer number of other works by the Mangaka had me confused for a moment...
