i won't speak for all but i for one, am only tolerating nakwon bc he has genuinely fallen in love and is determined to make mokhwa happy the best he can. idk if you've noticed but he's also very regretful of what he's done to mokhwa, he is fully aware and is actively striving to redeem himself by- as i said earlier- making mokhwa happy. be assured that i am not at all defending him, your hate towards him is completely justified. he is still the same narcissistic prick to others but his attitude and motives towards mokhwa isn't malicious anymore, that makes a huge difference. also, mokhwa is no fool. that's why they took a long time to get together, not bc he's emotionally oblivious (which is albeit, partially true), it's kinda disrespectful to him to say that he's happily going along nakwon's whims purely bc nakwon's manipulating him. no. he's only going along bc he chooses to WHEN he DEEMS is okay, mokhwa is an analytical type just as nakwon. lastly, mokhwa's face in chp 101 clearly shows that the guy is satisfied w what he's got. mokhwa happy = me happy.

I am soooo invested in the second couple!! I think its already written so well. Falling for a friend is so hard and complicated.. blondie's reaction to this situation is so valid and real. If you genuinely can't see a friend in a romantic light, its not like you can force yourself, but you don't want to lose an important friend either. but at the same time, it's not fair to expect the friend to get rid of their feelings and stay either. Just like you can't force yourself to have feelings, they can't be forced to NOT have feelings! this is fiction so ofc he's gonna realize he's had feelings for him all along... and I think the journey of him slowly becoming aware of his feelings is gonna be beautiful!!!! its already off to a great start!
