the author is exploring this dynamic so well I'm impressed. their personalities couldn't be any more different, but it's nice seeing how hard they're both trying to make it work and communicate the best they can. MC is honestly a saint for putting up with seme.. I personally don't think I could do it with how hard he is to understand and his lack of empathy, but he's trying. It just shows how much mc likes him. The fact that they've fought so many times, "broken up" and got back together and the constant arguing over the smallest things is so realistic. I'm not a fan of excessive toxicity just for the sake of making a toxic plot that we see in yaoi often, so unlike the common trope, their issues actually make sense and it's written very well. seme is too possessive tho, and making a big deal out of mc just shaking hands with a friend is just too much in my opinion. I'd feel suffocated if I had to walk around eggshells just to be with someone. If I can't enjoy a peaceful time with friends without worrying about my BF throwing a fit. I couldn't do it. In reality, there is very little chance that a relationship between these two could work. So I'm curious to see where the author takes this!
