I don’t know why people are in the comments getting angry that people are angry at some of the scenes depicted in this BL. Like it’s their right to get angry. Honestly there are a lot of scenes that make me uncomfortable but I love complex characters and I’m really reading to understand SH’s behavior because that shit intrigues me. People are saying to stop romanticizing this because in reality it has serious consequences. Yeah, I believe that every person has the right to express his/her opinion without being judged or attached, we can all learning something through a healthy discussion.
Nobody is mad at people being angry at certain depictions in BL but the problem lies when they start policing other readers that enjoy it. People should be able to enjoy fictitious themes without being policed or made to feel guilty for enjoying it.

Alright girls and gays I have a theory about this webtoon. Bare with me y’all my thoughts are all over the place. I’m just writing out stuff as it pops in my head.
Could it be possible that in the past SH liked another male low born and was discovered by his dad which is why he got his top knot cut off. From the beginning even tho he’s been crazy unlike Jihwa, SH has treated NK with some amount of respect. And when Jihwa was cursing low borns and telling SH not to pay too much attention to NK, SH told him not to cross the line and told him that he knows nothing about him. There are also moments where SH seems to be really kind to NK only for a moment later to turn batshit crazy- like when he gently held NKs face after he was crying (even tho he was the reason NK was crying in the first place). Like mayhaps SH being discovered by his dad and having his lover killed like made him lose his shit and become crazy because the old servant said that SH went through a trauma and then after he became violent and moody. Also the old servant is the only servant that stayed behind while all other servants left with SHs family ( could this also be why SH freaked the fuck out when NK left because he also has a trauma from his family up and leaving him). I’m just saying that maybe that’s why he’s so hung up on NK. Also also I’m not excusing SHs behavior. Even though he’s gone through some trauma it doesn’t give him the right to be a r*pey dbag but if we can find out what this trauma is then we can begin to explain away why he acts like this. SH also seems to have a problem with sleeping cuz like it’s been brought up a couple times throughout the series. Y’all I just wanna know this dudes past and see him with his hair down because we only got a glimpse of his hair down.
Side note- His brother doesn’t seem to hate him otherwise he wouldn’t come to see him to ask him to visit their father. The brother also seems to not mind too much about SH love for men because he’s doesnt cause a fuss about NK being in the room with them even though he can’t see him he knew what was going on in the room beforehand.
Another side note- the old servant gave NK that medicine that made him feel horny all the time but that medicine is the same medicine that SH takes (is this why SHs libido is so endless?) . Like why would he do that??

But about Seungho having a lowborn crush/lover before, I doubt it... I don’t think he’d have acted all high and mighty in the first chapters were if that was the case, remember when he arrogantly said something like, “Not even I would sink so low as to embrace a lowborn”. By that I guess Nakyum was his first lowborn lay. But then again, I could be wrong haha
Yea that bit in the beginning does go against the theory but I just chalked it up to him trying not to go down the same path again??? Like it can’t be just because he’s the painter that SH treats him so special. Like he never hangs out with the other servants, has his food/clothes/etc brought to him by servants, his room is right next to SHs so he’s not even in the servants quarters and SH always has his own personal servant (the old man) look after him. Lmao it just all came to me last night maybe it is a just a crazy theory
