My OTP sub-dom. first off, the psychological development of the main characters were well-conveyed by author. because their psyche were explored in a reasonable flow and weren’t so outwordly dissociated from reality to the point I could not relate, the subverse also became acceptable to my brain. I read as if subverse was actually a natural thing — the fictional characters’ needs made sense within that universe but also felt like it could overlap to reality. Being human entails the desire to be loved and to love, and this may lead each person to different paths; and MC and ML fit together. I love when the author masterfully accomplish the task of unpacking why the characters may have a deep bond. Love at first sight is nice in stories, I totally enjoy those too, but it’s not as satisfying as the resolution of two troubled characters finding acceptance and deep trust when they interact each other. It’s enlightening and cathartic to witness the same insecure characters to blossom into their own individuality because of what they offer each other. And this work is certainly that. Ultimately, I really enjoyed the read. The score did not give away how well-executed this way.
- adorable meter (maxed)
- trustworthy main characters
- love story based on trust and respect not just attraction
- growth potential (1000)
- line art you shouldn’t miss out on
- nuanced interactions between characters
- engaging read that you’ll read squirming with excitement at certain times
- guaranteed that you will at least once find yourself thinking “cuteness overload”
- I’m the type who can’t get excited by simple light-heartedness in a story. I need meaningful and sensible talk between the characters, a more intimate vibe from time to time, a sense that we’re getting to know the characters more deeply, even when buoyed by the humor. If you’re like me, I recommend this read! This is a humorous but not shallow read. A true gem of shoujo universe.
- OTP-worth coupling
- promising storyline
- might have more merits that I’m not including here so you might as well find out for yourself by reading the work ^^
- I really just wanted to rant about how adorbs this masterpiece is. (This is no way a proper review that could fully give the work justification).
I just thought that if someone out there find themselves loving this manga just as much as me if not more and this post is what gave them the nudge, then wouldn’t that be wonderful?
Wouldn’t it be a waste otherwise?
I’ve always had a feeling that Yeodan was just a side character and then recently (with the updates of this fake dating b/w him and Dani) the notion of Dani ending up together with Yeodan occurred to me. I thought it wouldn’t be so bad after all — why? Because Yeodan is a sweetheart. When I started thinking like that, I experienced heartache from the looming likelihood of a breakup Does Dani have to suffer breaking her Yeodan oppa’s heart??? Whyyy. I don’t want the two of them to go through thattttt
Your recent works have just struck the chord with me, and I’m still sort of shocked that one of my favored authors is actually publishing more of their masterpieces without the long wait in between! I really treasure your stories; they’re rare gems of heartfelt stories that are both real and fantastical. This one is no different! I was hooked on the cover page, gripped on the first chapter, and now can’t wait for more!

Here for the world-building, character complexity, folklore, whirlpool of a plot, deep romance that transcends age/time/barriers, atmospheric backdrop, obscure multifaceted dynamics, couple growth, masterful art, and immersive story flow? Then dive right in and enjoy the blissfully suitable waters.
Be forewarned: each main protagonist is an intricate study on their own, and once you’re invested in them, there is no turning back.
