Is hyuk a metaphor for depression?
Cuz this is what it felt like to me for some reason
It felt like hyuk was a little thing at first but mc kept running away from confronting it until it festered and became what it was now
Hyuk shenanigans (or in this case "depression") kept piling up with how much mc kept ignoring it until it ACTUALLY became an issue
Him not being able to ask for help from the police, his peers felt like a metaphor for him not being able to get professional help (therapy) and him being afraid of people seeing hyuk bcuz he didn't wan people to know how much he was hurting
The "stay at home" felt like him trying his best to keep his depression under wraps so noone could "find him out" or know about his illness, yk?
The time where mc tied hyuk up it felt like him taming his depression, not getting rid of it by meds/therapy but learning to live with it even tho it hurts him to
The end just felt like him completely surrendering to his illness, and even tho it seems "peaceful" it will slowly tear him apart.

I think this perfectly sums up the weird feeling i had when reading this. it reminds me a shit ton of life of pi . it's rly hard to put in words, but i'll try. both hyuk and the tiger seem almost non-existant. they don't feel tangible and more like a piece of the mc than a separate being entirely. idk bru ghhgakjhfsjhvkjhsfljahsr

I fuckin called it
This fuckass story with its expected lazy "love fixes abuse" ahh ending
Im actually screaming im tearing my shirt apart
I should've listened to my husband and dropped this like he did 40 chapters ago, but i stayed for the kids and i feel as if all my kids turned out to be drug addicts
This whole comic I felt like an abused damsel sliding down the shower walls muttering "he'll change.." SURPRISE IT DOESN'T GET BETTER. IM TWEAKING THIS STORY WAS SO ASSSSSSS
Now all i get is a "i told you so" from my husband and a torn up shirt and dreams of an actual good bl that handle heavy subjects with care and not just slap a "love hurts" slogan on literal kidnapping, sexual assault, and dehumanizing and so much fucking more
But seriously though, this was genuinely such a waste of time, the story ended up being such a disappointment. (Not to mention how it got my hopes up with the beginning, like "omg tae is going to therapy??? Is that a jump in the future??" i was so excited then this twink-ass hoe ran back to that dental care looking mf like a damsel in distress and i wanted to kms)
Ughhh this comic didn't add ANYTHING to the bl genre or story writing at all, it was just another abuse fetishizing comment hidden behind an excuse of a plot.
And it was so rushed by the end too
Like 25 chapters of straight fucking and only 5 for the wrap up? Give me a break
This sucks, imma get a beer and try to forget about this.

Me when I don't understand jokes
And i understand what it meant i just find it stupid and overused and such a waste on such a deep character like tae, it feels rushed and badly written and it does fall under "love saves all" because he's going to his sexual abuser
But if we are being fr tho its just a story, it was very disappointing and i have opinions about it that i translated into drama in my comment above
No need to take EVERYTHING said on the internet so seriously

This is truly an LGBTQ+ story
This is what BL is supposed to be about, a bunch of queer and loving people growing and understanding each other's experiences
This comic is genuinely so lovely, i love seeing such a beautiful portrayal of queer people and their very different experiences
Im kinda sad to admit, but i was shocked when i saw the rainbow pin in one of the panels
Most of the bl comics popular these days dont ever portray gay people as ACTUAL gay people but as an added "pazzaz" to a story
I can't talk enough on how much i love this story, every character is so so likeable. And the main couple? Chef kiss
No weird shock factors, no lazy writing just mutual love and respect and communication AND UGHH i love this story so much
And not to mention a nonbinary/trans character? Like who is this amazing author i have the luxury of reading a work from

Now im curious, do omegas do their military service in the omegaverse? Or is it an only alpha thing
And if so do alpha women do their military service or is it an only male thing as well?
My question would be also is misogyny a thing in omegaverse or are omegas the only gender discriminated against regardless of sex?

This is just my opinion but for safety precautions, I don't think omegas would be able to enlist in the military, at least ordinarily. They would probably take the alternative form of military enlistment, which is as a social service agent (9-5 desk job kinda)
Unless those alpha women chose to partake themselves, I don't think it's mandatory for them either
And misogyny is absolutely still a thing in omegaverse it's just that the range now extends towards omega males as well

Does that mean that omegas have it worst than women in general?? Like it seems like misogyny at maximum difficulty for them in these comics
Like it almost feel that the abuse they go through is 100% justified and never talked about
The only time ive seen this being talked about as an issue in a comic would be in "Takatora-kun to Omegatachi"
And that one on TikTok when everyone decided to roleplay as omegas and alphas and in a way it became a gender issue and a way to learn about the feminist movement.
And yeah i believe regular Misogyny (lmao) still exists but omegas get the most of it, i do believe that alpha women would enlist normally tho but i feel like they would get alienated by other members or something.

Yeah thats what i think too
Now there is something else im curious abt, do male omegas get more discriminated against or female? I don't see thta much female omegas in comics so i actually have no clue how they're treated in omegaverse
I wish there was like a comic talking about these issues in more detail that would be very interesting

What I have noticed typically in a bunch of omegaverse stories alpha women are portrayed as having the same status as alpha men. Even though they can also give birth like omegas they’re higher status and are equal to alpha men. So it may depend on who doing the story but I believe alpha women will also have to enlist as they’re considered as strong as men. I believe misogyny still exist as well, but alpha women will be excluded from it as they can also be seen in position of power.
Not even expired crystal meth can get a person to create such nightmare inducing bs like this
Like what happened to him in the end?? Is he just gonna keep getting pussies on his bodies like pimples??? I can't with this
Get this edgy shit outta my face dawg
