Season 1 was pretty frustrating and boring and also the reason why I had dropped this a few years ago but every now and then I'd come across edits of Daeshik and Yosef and it peaked my curiosity a lot about their relationship, hence i came back, skimmed through season 1 and only stopped at chapters in season 1 where Daeshik and Yosef interacted lmao and then savoured each and every panel of season 2, everything about it was amazingggggg.
The entirety of my review is based on season 2!
Daeshik is soo cute!!!
The whole communication thing in this story is so great I can't appreciate it enough, especially between Daeshik and Yosef.
I love love love the fact that the actual insertion (D and Y) happened after 3 foreplay situations lmaoo, it made their sexual tension soo much higher.
I realised I love their relationship even more cuz of Yosef being in mafia and Daeshik being a civilian and the whole "we can't be together, i can't afford to put you in danger" ITS ALL BECAUSE I USED TO STAY UP ALL NIGHT PLAYING EPISODES WITH SUCH TROPES!!!!
I'll say it again, their level of communication is too fucking good, the way Yosef explained all his reasonings clearly as to why he can't leave the gang was so refreshing!!! or maybe not so much but it's just that all the popular manhwas with toxic ass semes that dk the C of communication have made my standards weirdly low TT.
I loved Daeshik's thinking skills a lot!!! He's entj and I'm intj so makes sense lol.
Also this turned out way more interesting than i thought genuinely what the hell!? Especially the plot twists and omgg Daeshik is the actual mc of the story idek why they put Jihyun and Yohan on the cover!???
It was really intriguing and interesting when the whole leaving gang arc started.
Not one chapter of Season 2 made me wanna take a break cause of how good it was!!
Also by the end the whole found family scene was soo cute!! made me cry lol.
Anyways, really good story as long as you kinda forget about season 1.
would recommend!
