no i understand it’s uh. very clunky LMAO sorry for the delayed response also the full thing has been uploaded to bato if you’d like to read it there! do note that it’s got its fair share of typos but it is… infinitely more readable than the fan tl can be at times. am very grateful the fan tl exists at all because i really like this story but ummm. well. as i said before it’s hard to parse sometimes.

everyone saying they’re not strong enough to wait and will just read these twice…. please keep in mind how disheartening it is to the team to keep having this series they’ve worked on so hard sniped, esp since they mentioned in ch39 that whoever else is TLing now stole their title design, and that they’ve also said that it’s very disheartening and mentally draining to keep dealing with this. have some respect for the effort they put in by just waiting for them normally.
go look up the raws if you need to see neu & jistar ahead of schedulr that badly. :p and have some respect and patience for the translators whose work you claim to enjoy.

Yeowoon is genuinely so funny. guy mentions no actual interest in women past the “I don’t have a girlfriend” misunderstanding in ch1 and is constantly trying to get close to Jigu, mentions how handsome and attractive and buff he is, likes his looks enough to style his character after him, wonders WHY he’s so intensely focused on getting this guy to be his friend… and then is like hmmm no i’m not into men. boy i think you need an am i gay quiz
now that season 1 has ended with the raws you’re keeping me from a guildmate withdrawal……… i rly love this series so much it’s so fun. i’m really excited for the next few chapters of the home visit.

needed to make a topic just to complain about one of the reviews. so there’s one that’s like “i don’t know how yano doesn’t second-guess odajima when he says he cut off all the girls, he was probably looking at a lot of women while still chasing yano” and it’s like……. way to miss the point. badly.
odajima’s entire thing is that he’s self-harming through sex because he’s gay. it’s self-enforced conversion therapy. he’s trying to force himself to become “normal” because of what his mom imposed on him, even when she immediately tried to take it back because she realized that single comment of hers, made in a moment of crazed grief, was ruining her son. him telling yano he cut off the girls is both a promise regarding his fidelity and assurance that he’s no longer going to run from himself or his sexuality, which yano suggested when he asked at one point why odajima didn’t try Being Himself. now he’s being himself and it’s thanks to yano.
anyways i love this one. i think it’s a well-told story and i hope volume 4 ends up being a timeskip hc i think it’s a missed opportunity that they’re still in high school at the end after talking about how their relationship won’t end when they graduate. college yano & odajima…. office life yano & odajima…. please…. anything…. i want to see them as happy adults in love who have kept their relationship going….

have to say, Robin’s a really enjoyable protagonist! he didn’t spend any time waffling over his feelings or the “but we’re both boys >_<“ of it that a lot of comic charas who’ve never fallen in love w someone of the same gender get hung up on, be it BL or GL. he realized he liked Hangyul, went “i’ve never liked a guy before… i’m kind of scared. oh well!” and immediately moved on with his life and with wanting to be proactive and get closer. really refreshing. appreciate it.

honestly, while i personally figured fukami was more afraid to approach love than anything (which turned out to be the case), it’s still nice & surprising in equal parts to see this manga genuinely acknowledge aromanticism as something that exists, as well as having kaji comment that his feelings for fukami and persistence in maintaining their relationship must have come across as cruel for chasing after him if that actually was the case for him. kaji has shown some impressive growth as a character over the lengthy course of this story & honestly.
he really does deserve better than his relationship with fukami where they are right now not to say that opening up is easy when you’ve got mental walls built up, and fukami deserves to be able to have the ability to dismantle those & heal, but it’s not fair to kaji to constantly be met with the pushback he has. especially. looks at ch39. looks back. (also considering the chapters we just got…. “i’ll only meet if it’s about sex. you won’t see me if this is about anything else” fukami come on. you are a grown ass man. learn to communicate properly)
