I hate how our MC keeps lowkey talking down on herself. Like when first saw the dress she said,”it’s a shame that I’m the one wearing it,” also when she went to the evening party with Felix and said in front of everybody “I know my looks are unremarkable.” Like huh why are you talking about yourself like that. I love that Felix stopped her and said something. Also that one guy keeps calling her a potato and ugly is pissing me off because let’s be honest she really isn’t ugly. Is she drop dead gorgeous I would say no but she’s more on the cuter side to me. But UGLY never that!!! Also that one guy with the boneless ass curl in back keeps saying how he won’t accept her because Felix’s whole family is really pretty but honestly to me she doesn’t look that different from Felix’s sister.
I wanted to read the rest so bad I got Jnovel club subscription (I’ll most likely get rid of it in a month if I don’t like it lmao) as a gift for myself for my birthday lol. I will say I love where the stories going and my girl is strong!
On ch.27 and I finally realized why I like the MC so much because he reminds of Tsukishima from Haikyu lmao!!!!!
*Also I saw some spoilers saying that in the novel the little girl acts like a child and isn’t all flirty and weird. I wish they would have left part out because did you have to change her character and make her all weird!
Just off reading the novel spoilers there are definitely parts I like more from the manhwa version personally but there are also parts I wished they would have went without if they weren’t going to fully flesh it out. Like the whole mercenary actually being royalty thing. Like why add it if we don’t even get a solution to that. Also I will say Cliff losing his mind and going to search for his Riize feels true to Cliff to me because he never cared how crazy she was.
As I go back to reread I feel like the author does a great job of showing the MC’s slowly gaining depression. Which honestly makes a lot of sense because imagine waking up in a white room like he did be told by what seems to be a god to choose and than finding out there was trap set, luckily breaking out of brainwashing and honestly just being in a world where no one knows you. Like he looks so lonely sometimes it quite sad.

Not gonna lie it’s kinda of annoying how the survivors won’t listen to him when if they would pay attention a little he’s clearly the one in charge. I don’t understand why they’re (the survivors) holding on to the old military ranks like the world hasn’t lowkey fell. They should be listening to the most competent leader which is our MC, but instead they always question him until the other dude shows up it’s extremely frustrating!
I really love how Zinc and Ester have opposite color schemes. Like Ester has blonde hair with icy blue eyes while Zinc has icy blue hair with golden eyes. I don’t know I just find that little detail really cute on them.
Right after they got all cozy together the next day someone else from his past just shows up out of the woodworks!!!!!
