I just started it so I’m still in the beginning around ch.14. I was wondering what does she mean when she says she wants to go home? Isn’t she dead? (Spoil me I don’t mind)
This isn’t the only story that does this though and I always wonder what they’re talking about. Especially when it’s so clear that they died. Are they just not able to come to terms with it? I guess if just wanted to go back into a more modern world I understand that.
(Using my self as an example to explain my thoughts)
I guess my thing is if I knew I died I don’t think I would want to rush back to that world unless it’s for certain I'm in the same body and somehow miraculously survive. Because what if I reincarnate into a different race/country around the same time after my death. My family wouldn’t recognize me anyway. Honestly, it would hurt my heart even more to see my family especially when they’re sad because of my death. Its not like I could just run into my mom or siblings arms.
This is why I wonder if it’s just hard for them to come to terms with fact that they’ve died. I have read a story before where the girl became a princess I think and it took her quite a while to come to terms with the fact that she died and is now someone else’s child.
I’m interested in other people’s opinion on this so please share your thoughts.

Just seen the comments from the spoilers. Please somebody bring me back once the angst is resolved because I can’t deal!
I knew this was gonna blow up in the mc’s face when he started this! ╥﹏╥

Ok so basically you know how Dohu wanted to use the ML as a reference for his story. Well it came back to bite him because he ended up finding out and Dohu personality really didn’t make things any better since he tends to just brush things off. Dohu didn’t understand why the ML was angry leading to the ML breaking up with Dohu. If I remember correctly people said that ML basically said that he was coming off selfish and dismissive. So, the ML told him to leave him alone.

When there are stories and it’s a man reincarnating into a girls body a lot of the times they get weirded out at the idea of them dating a man now. Especially if the man is reborn into a noble woman’s body it’s kind of expected of you to get married. In that same sense in the stories where a woman ends up inside a boys body they tend to allow themselves the freedom to fall in love. Are women just more open minded in that regard? I’m not necessarily talking about just this story honestly I feel like with his personality if the person just showed sincerity he may date them regardless of their gender. It was just a thought I had on the differences on how these stories are usually told.

Probably because in Japanese culture it's generally seen as weird for women to express their sexuality strongly. Also, gay women seem to be generally more accepted than gay men in Japan, for whatever reason. I get the sense that being a gay man is seen as shameful, but being a gay woman is seen as hot. But that's from the male perspective only somehow? And it's the opposite from the female perspective? I could be wrong on that though since my perspective is probably skewed lol.
But basically, for the differences in the story telling, it boils down to what the author/editor thinks their general audience wants or would accept. That's true of most modern media at least.

That would be awesome, but I don't even hope for that much most of the time (there are a few Shoujo Ai Isekai that kinda do that, one of them got an anime adaptation but I can't remember the name). My problem is that Isekai MCs almost never have just friends. Sometimes I just want some wholesome friendship lol. I'm not opposed to a harem as long as the people in it act like actual people though.
I can’t stand that bitch of a brother!!!! (╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸
