it’s not often you see an uke take a seme’s confession head on or into consideration that far and seriously. like he didn’t reject the confession at first but he didnt accept it either and decided to think it through maturely, thinking about the effects if he said no/yes. he even pushed himself to research how gay sex would work, properly communicates and boldly initiates skinship with the seme too; we love to see it
you can really feel the genuine love and concern he feels for the seme and is being as real as he can with him and their future (how their relationship would change physically, living together, etc) i really liked that
the only thing i find myself wishing is for the uke to help the seme break out his antisocial shell and make some actual friends, instead of keeping him exclusively for the uke. but then again the seme’s character is described to be a “gloomy gamer nerd”
like those typical editor + mangaka/novelist/etc tropes where the uke is duped and used/punished by the seme to do lewd poses/acts for his writing. next~
i liked the earlier, confident and smart side of the empress but now that she sees the story has changed (obviously bc she herself has changed) she’s begun to break down and head towards that “weak, confused, scared” FL route for the last few chapters... she should stop worrying, reject the emperor properly and just think what she should do now in the present so she can secure a safe future

She just got attacked and her reality of the world has been changed. Its easy to play cool when you think you know all the cards of the game, not so much when they flip the table on you and nearly kill you.
Stop complaining and give her a break, its only been a couple of chapters, she'll recover eventually. They wouldn't have shown us how capable she is otherwise.
sanghwa’s probably the most realistic and level headed uke i’ve ever seen & he really scored it with this hyung someone who’s so reliable, genuinely comforting and thoughtful ;;; like the hyung really went out of his way to buy a cake and drive it to sanghwa’s place bc he knows sanghwa loves cakes and he was feeling upset that day
