This should have ended with one season. the story was good. now we get the typical push and pull story which it didn't need. I understand when something is popular it gets a second season. But most story aren't fit for more. In the end after all the drama he will just end up with huyng.

Not everything needs to be detailed out. Sometimes or rather many times it is good to leave things open for your own interpretation. Now we can all kind of figure out for ourselfs how this story will go. If they really wanted to go to a good direction then they wouldn't go down the ovbuis road.
But maybe I just have read to many of these type of stories, where the begining is intresting and it just get watered down because of the popularity.
This reminds me of a man who married a girl. And the next morning he woke up and he got quite a scare seeing a total different girl lying next to him. Point is, she was sort of lying about her looks fromt the start. He immidiatky divorced here. Altough i like the idea. It also feels like lying. I just can’t read it, i think people should be loved for who they are, not for how they look.
You should read a bit longer than you have then cuz you’ll see that it’s actually going to be about her being liked boy for her looks
What do you mean her looks? The one with make up?
I haven't read it yet and I know about the news that Nitrogenix is pertaining. Actually, the woman always wear make up and pro at it so after marriage, she removed her make-up before honeymoon so the husband was schock bc she looks totally different, and I think for him, that sorts like a lie.
Yeah the mc, he didn’t like her at school at first (pretty, girly, not her real self) but he liked her when she wasn’t pretending at the comic store, seems like it’s going to head down the route of her realising looks aren’t as important as she thinks
Is it really okay to write something comparing something that happened with a book that you haven't read that much into?
For me this stories sounds like if you put make up on then your hot and awsome. while being your natural self is ugly and a nerd. people should love the nerd. I just somehow cannot get is seperated in my mind.
Well she does wear the make up a lot but not all the time. The boy (sry i suck at remembering korean names but you know who i am talking about) saw her "true self" and seems to love her more when she is natural. The story wants to show us that we are better natural, not the opposite!
And the mc doesn't want to lie or anything she is just really insecure about herself which is normal at her age and considering her backstory.
Also I don't think you should compare a story you didn't finish with another that you finished. This is just unfair :/ can't force you to read True Beauty but I'm just saying.
Have a nice day! (⌒▽⌒)
Although i agree with your point that people should be loved by who they are not how they look that isn't always the case. Alot of social media influence makes people desire to look a certain way and consequently try to live up to expectations that they have been exposed to. This causes people to have a low self-esteem and nitpick their flaws and insecurites. I like this manga becuase it does show how this affects a person (the mc) and although the plot doesn't feel complete and seems a bit cliché I have hope that the author can add more to the story and to the overall message they are trying to give out to the readers.
Much love, babugee
After reading your comments i will give it a try. Cheers
