Holy shit this is amazing! I don't usually like stories with cheaters, but seeing as they aren't technically together yet, he isn't cheating on her... so work around? This story is some twisted shit. You think you have a grasp on it and then it twists out of your hands and goes trotting along laughing like a maniacal gremlin. I LOVE IT! Yoshino, our leading lady, is truly badass, in a subtle way. You can believe she's the granddaughter of a yakuza, but also has kept her head low. As for Kirishima, our leading man, he's a twisted, possibly insane, individual that is obsessed with her (loves her?). I can't wait to see where this ends at. Until then, I'm going along for this ride!

Am I the only one confused? Who is this FL that she's waiting for? All she's talked about is her family's downfall. Then suddenly there's a FL, that isn't her older sister? And a villainess? I feel like we entered one book in the beginning and now the author is like "Wait! This will make it too short! Let's add this and this and this" and is making things up now. I'm confused! I can't get a grasp of the "book" that she was reincarnated into at all!

But she said it happened at the "climax" of the book. So, in other words the books most important and tension driven moment. Hence my confusion. If the family survived that FAR into the main story line why isn't the FL mentioned AT ALL before? Why only now bring it up when a relationship is in the works? It just sounds like lazy writing to me to have an excuse for the "contract with terms and time limits" cliche to be worked into the story. Honestly, I guess I'm just unsatisfied with how the writer is handling this whole process. I like our MC, so I'll continue, I just wish that the writer was better at framing her story and setting the groundwork. Because to me, it's flimsy at best.

I enjoy the fact that she isn't in fear of her life and forms a genuine relationship with her dad out of mutual desire to be with each other. It's refreshing that he already loves her and only couldn't be with her for reasons beyond either of their control (seriously though, what kind of contract requires you to give up your baby?) This makes this much different for me compared to the other "scary daddy with a little daughter" comics out there right now. He GENUINELY cares for his daughter already!

The contract is pretty messed up. Rykell and his wife were 2 of 4 archmages/transcendentals in the empire, and there is a custom to bind them with chain of pledge (not only the archmages, the hero/master swordsman and the emperor's late wife got chained too. the queen sacrificing her life to save her child so the child won't grow in that corrupted environment).
Rykell had 2 chains of pledge, and his wife (now dead) and daughter (free) became hostages. it happened to Kyle, too (his son and wife became a proof of loyalty). the other mages also met the same fate.
what makes Rykell stands out from the other daddies is that he is a genuine person under the icy demeanor. he truly cares for his precious daughter and his "family" (the butler and his lil bro, the nymphs, and his disciple) and wanted to build a happy family with his wife & daughter. Now he focused to raise Maybelle and slowly explain more about her mother's backstory. Maybelle will loves her mother, too.
tl;dr = it is a story about Rykell and Maybelle move on with their life and build a happy future (and their main agenda to create the future is to dethrone the damn emperor and free Rykell from the chain of pledge. The father and daughter also thought about a way to save Bellerophon from his doomed fate, too..XD)

I just LOVE THIS! First off ships!
>Godfather and godmother are TOTALLY sailing! Seriouly, Haren and Raphel are meant to be togehter, FIGHT ME!
>Obviously her mom and dad (≧∀≦).
>And I think I'm okay with Irene being
with dragon boy ... MAYBE... the age difference is a tad ... yeah. Still cute!
Now, current chapter 15, seriously? What did you think was going to happen showing at his door dressed like THAT?
Why is no one worried about the PIN!! What was it to? Is this mistake going to lead to an injury? The pin has me so stressed out!!
