It amazes me how the BL community villainizes women. Did people forget Simon nearly died simply being associated with Will? Will’s mafia family? Will being a fuckboy? Will’s behavior as a bad boy at school? She’s literally being over proactive because that’s a normal response to her young brother who she’s partially raised herself, having these sudden changes in his behavior and attitude after meeting a boy who for all intents and purposes is very bad news on paper. This isn’t the Simon she knows and she’s worried rightfully so. This is a normal reaction. They’ll need to talk of course later to clear the air. But as of now unfortunately yes she doesn’t have all the facts and yes she’s not the one who gets to decide who Simon dates or chooses to love but maybe it’s because I’m getting older but I can identify more with a a concerned older sister over an impulsive angsty teenager. I would totally have sided with Simon ten years ago but now I wouldn’t date someone like Will with all his baggage and would advice against it myself even. Wow she’s not public enemy number one just because these two aren’t together yet and she prioritizes her brother’s wellbeing first. Yikes.

I’m not surprised I’m being downvoted or the excuses being made here it comes with the community. This is a very problematic trope that often negatively impacts queer men nothing about them being friends excuses this. Please just enjoy the story but don’t bother with the excuses.
I don’t know why but the sex seems so rushed and shoehorned I didn’t actually feel a natural progression to it all . One minute blood was drank, they hang out for a bit, and then seme's completely obsessed and wants sex with this mysterious stranger. Ohhhh spicy? But I’m just here confused when sex was even discussed as part of their agreement because I clearly do not recall this.
I can see where you're coming from but is it possible that you may have skipped a chapter? At first it started with a kiss & then they went their separate ways & then started having dreams about each other. Then after sometime the sexual attraction started to develop.
But then again don't get me wrong he is quite pushy but in a sense he also takes his time to the point where he's not forcing him.

I’ve seen so many authors do this. Make the top become a bottom not because of a difference in sexual taste but to distract from that character’s previous offense within the plot. It’s so shallow. And because BL has being a bottom or top tied not only to your sexual role but a character’s personality it also allows the author to then change character’s to align with this new identity and make them “sympathetic” as submissive and emasculated removing their egregious or domineering personality. It’s very calculated and not authentic at all to when compared to say a character that purposely is sexually versatile or doesn’t need to be black out drunk to desire being topped as was done here.
