I just find characterizations like Aki so bizarre and just breaks the immersion. He is introduced as a laid back, very popular, likely experienced teenager; comfortable enough to jerk off a complete stranger upon meeting him. But I’m suppose to believe he’d be shy and blush over a interrupted kiss. Sure.
actually annoys me that Uncle Pan and redhead will end up together regardless of how the author's accurately portrayed the reality of 'dating' people with their personalities and age difference. We all know this would be conveniently solved and romanticized by some big romantic gesture in end after Uncle has realized he just can't live the same way having met Redhead. It's such a cliche but that's BL for you.
Well that explanation made no sense. Unless that twin specifically chose to switch places to get closer to our main. You wouldn’t pose as your sibling just to attend school for them, so what now you no longer exist and don’t attend school to earn an education for yourself? You’d have no evidence or record of your own educational experience to later apply for college etc. it just doesn’t make sense if our main even thought about it logically.
The author’s way of handling River’s story arc makes no sense and just honestly is uninteresting. His roommate could have helped and saved him ages ago. Why bother doing it now when the fall out was so damaging to River’s very state of being? It’s rather just convenient to the plot. No on decides to help a friend in this sort of manner after the fact. I’d tell Tristan to fuck off personally. But this is a BL so the little too late apology will apparently be all that’s needed to spark a pointless romance.
I don’t like the second couple (cleaning boss x longhaired playboy). The boss is soooo nice and the playboy has such a gross personality and nothing likable about him; his backstory is so meh to me. I really don’t understand the appeal of writing characters falling in love with such vast personalities to the point that they would never happen to do so in any other scenario than in fiction. Maybe I’m just being cynical but I prefer people changing for the better for themselves not because it’ll ensure sex at some point in the future and make for a cliche opposites attract HEA

That was just so rushed to even comprehend why it happened.
