Why do I feel like the author decided to stretch out this story around volume 2/3 by turning Rui into a cartoon villain?
Like, at the beginning there was no hint at all that the affair was part of such an elaborate ploy. The plot was heading towards Rui being a sneaky bitch that fell in love with the husband and tried to get him to leave his wife. The wife would then reunite with her childhood love and be happy with him.
Literally, all the elements were there. So why did it suddenly turn into Rui's big revenge plan?
I'm still shocked at how this came out of NOWHERE.
I'm not gonna say I don't enjoy this drama but it seems very far fetched and very out of the blue.

Apparently a ripped nail can take up to one year to regrow fully and no less than 3 months anyway.
They ripped off all of poor Anne's nails so she'll have to wear those bandages a while. I'm guessing that Bluebell's nails will grow back much quicker though (like, a few days). So maybe she'll take care of Anne's hands huehuehuehuehue

Why are we overlooking the fact that she was a child bride? Like, sure the man is trash for ignoring her for 10 years, wanting her all of a sudden and sexually assaulting her in her sleep.
But really he was trash from the very beginning because what kind of 26 year old man asks for a 16 year old girl's hand in marriage? It's almost a blessing that he ignored her when she was still a minor because wtf?
Also fuck her dad for agreeing to this and refusing to let her get a divorce.

I noticed it since last chapter but I brushed it off. Now I can't ignore it anymore. Did the team change translator or something? Because some sentences just don't make much sense.

"wrap it up" doesn't work in the context of this scene

What tongue?
I cba to look for examples from the previous chapter but there were a few.
Weed doesn't make people smell bad but it can make them smell like weed, which a lot of people don't like. It's all about people having different tastes and tolerance for strong smell.
