I'm curious about Seungeon's family.
The crazy guy said that Seungeon was physically abused by both his parents.
And SPOILER FOR CHAPTER 31, now we know that Seungeon's mum killed herself after he was born.
Looking at this https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/even_if_you_don_t_love_me/uu/iur_chapter-18/pg-3/, we can see his sister, his brother, his dad and a middle-aged woman who I thought was his mom but turns out she's not. Is she his step mother then? Could it be that his mum was his dad's mistress and she was sad because his dad wouldn't marry her so she took her own life? If he's the son of another woman it would also explain the age gap with his siblings. Another clue is that Seungeon said that he will inherit a trashy affiliated branch rather than the main company so it's clear that his family doesn't favour him in any way (that and the beatings prove it). So if he's an illegitimate child that would explain a lot of things about his upbringing.

Yes!!! I had this theory of Seungeon being an ilegitimate child born out if affair his father had with some woman(probably lower social class woman) since a long time ago. I was waiting for something to green lit that theory. Like, I was always boogled why would they treat their own family member like trash. And than we got these little hints you mentioned and now the confirmation *happy dance*

It's sad how Alex has zero chance of ending with Yeonwu even though he's undoubtedly the better choice. I hate how this genre romanticizes abusive relationships. Because yes, Taewhan is abusive, period. Their first sexual intercourse was incredibly violent. Remember that he entered him with no preparation whatsoever because he doesn't care about Yeonwu's physical or mental wellbeing. And that's their relationship summed up in a nutshell.
He's consistently being morally abusive to Yeonwu, humiliating him, taking pleasure in seeing him panic and cry. This is not a dom-sub relationship, this is abuse. You don't need to beat up your partner to be abusive! Mental abuse is very real and Yeonwu being insecure to start with sadly makes him the perfect victim for someone like Taewhan.
Now we're starting to get a sobstory about how he was sexually abused as a kid, as if that's an excuse to treat Yeonwu like shit. Pls, this is even offensive to rape survivors. I would enjoy this second season far more if I knew that Taewhan would end up without Yeonwu in the end but I can't because I know that his awful behaviour will be rewarded and it pisses me off.

His hatred for yeonwu stems from when he nearly sexually harassed taewhan as children; its just weird how they're in a relationship when taewhan didn't even like him to begin with. I agree with you, the only thing I disagree with is the dom-sub bit. This isn't dom-sub representation its sadomasochism.

About the domsub thing, I was merely referring to what other people think this is. Many commenters think it's a domsub relationship when in fact it's straight up abuse.
I know where his hatred stems from but it's no excuse to abuse him and the fact that some people think differently is seriously concerning.

Some people seem confused because they didn't "confess" yet they are a couple. But this is how most adults get together. They find out they are attracted to each other first and then they start going out in order to get to know each other better and find out if they work as a couple. After a while, their feelings grow and the relationship becomes strong enough to start talking about love. It can take a while for some couples to actually say "I love you" for the first time but it doesn't mean they don't love each other.
I'm glad this manwha took a realistic route even though it's somehow confusing for many people.

A few people in the comments pointed out that Lumi looks like a little girl with big boobs now. I initially thought that she'd always looked that way but I went back to check and turns out I was wrong. The author definitely changed her appearance to make her look more like a child, because that's her in chapter 12:

And that's her now: https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/snowman_1/uu/nml_chapter-37/pg-8/
Like pls, as if this story wasn't disgusting enough already lmao
We've been set up.

This story came out in 2004 for fuck's sake.
Gen Z needs to understand that back then the topic of gender identity wasn't nearly as fleshed out as it is now in the media. You couldn't just log onto Tumblr or Youtube and watch/read your favourite queer activist talk about their transition. Those means of communication did NOT exist yet. You'd only hear about trans people if you could meet one that was out (very rare) and even then there was still A LOT of ignorance.
So in most books and art, those labels simply weren't there and especially not in BL, which commonly spreads outdated views of queerness even to this day!
How many times have you read a story in which a character is "only gay for that person" or "doesn't want to have the feminine role"? Most authors don't even recognise bisexuality and act as if being penetrated turns one into a woman and you expect them to put a label on gender dysphoria?!
Furthermore, the author is JAPANESE. Japan is extremely behind on gender equality and queer rights. Therefore, it also translates into the way stories are classified and marketed. If you're so offended about a 17 year old story being in the "wrong tag" on an illegal website then by all means, write to the author, her editor and the publisher. Don't forget to explain that you are defending the right to read this illegally, and all that matters to you is that they invent a new genre altogether just to please you. Because yes, "gender bender" is the only way the Japanese manga industry markets stories like this one. Is it right? No. Is it transphobic? Absolutely. Is this a fight that must be led by entitled ilegal readers on mangago who want to shit on a manga that came out before they were born? Hell no.
I understand that you're young but do try and use your brain before spamming the comments with your overreactions.

Did he get hard?? If he did, it's kinda bold for a shoujo to imply that.
But it's no conventional shoujo tbf, the main character is coded as non-binary and the male lead is coded as pan/queer.

More probably his clothes...
There's no way to hide it :D

Wait a minute... Just to be sure: does that clock says it's almost 2am? Did he really work so late?? And his bf waited for him???

Asking the real questions
Yes
Damn... Kim Jongchan is a better person than me. Ain't no way I'm staying so freaking late at the office to wait for my broke boyfriend to finish writing his resume
Yes, its quite common in there actually.
